A Cyroablation

I had my cyroablation on Aug 3, at Mayo Jacksonville. Was released that night but had to stay at the hotel on the campus. Dr took me off Cardizem 3 days prior. Told three months for scar tissue to firm and nerve endings to heal. Besides afib I had SVT , uncontrolled crazy heart rate. I have not had an afib since surgery and finally my SVT is gone. My afib had gotten to the point that every episode was at least 12 hours every day. Prior to surgery I had been in afib for two full days and went into surgery in afib . Four hour procedure and now I have my life back only med I’m on is eliquis . Go for it if your on the fence!

Me too. One ablation in London in 2013. Took 5 months to stop all arrhythmias but no more AF.
