Blood thinners
I am taking 3 meds that could be considered blood thinners....Eliquis: Nattokiness, and Vitamin K. I also take Taurine and Arginine. My question is...can I eliminate Eliquis and keep Natto? I take the meds because I have been found to have A-fib. A few years ago, Nalakrats wrote a great article about

Hi I'm a newbie here...and recently diagnosed with A-FIB
My hubby bought me a smart watch for Christmas and it showed up irregular heartbeat...I went to the heart specialist who put me on a 3 week Holter monitor. Which in turn showed up atrial fibrillation, I am so anxious about all this, and scared. I am on 2 meds Metoprolol ( beta blocker )and Eliquis..

Afib and sleep apnea
Hi friends, I was diagnosed with afib a year ago and have had 3 afib episodes during that time. Taking Eliquis. My e.p. WNts me to see a sleep specialist to check for sleep apnea as many afibbers have it. Anyone else experience this? I am not aware I have it.

Thapsigargin
Thapsigargin is an antiviral medicine that the University of Nottingham has found effective against a number of viruses including the covid. Boy, I tell you, the UK is really on the ball. I read about this on a place called SciTechDaily. The more treatments found, the better. Meanwhile here in the USA

Asthma & Acid Reflux
Hi all. I'm looking for some advice from those suffering from asthma and GERD/ acid reflux. My asthma has been difficult to control the past few months and I've had a continuous crackle in my chest at night, along with post nasal drip, and chest and stomach pain. A chest Xray was clear, and after posting

ANY DIETS THAT ARE HELPFUL?
Hi, I’m either pre-fibrotic MF or level 1 MF. I’m on HU & Eliquis & my lab numbers are fine with no anemia. But my fatigue has gotten to the point I’m thinking I should try dietary changes & see if they help. Has anyone significantly reduced their level of fatigue by eating differently? And what diet

Should I stop taking Apixaban?
I'm being a right ditherer today, in fact I have been all week. Now that I no longer have atrial fibrillation, should I give up on the anticoagulant? I was continuing with it because it had kept my migraine at bay for two years now. (That's apart form a period after my ablation). However, I knew that

4 YEARS POST ABLATION and some weird info...
I can hardly believe that it is 5 years since I joined this group. I don't visit often since my ablation almost 4 years ago. I had so much help from people in this group and today I see that Bob is still helping people... I see CDreamer is here helping too. God bless you all. I am fine after my ablation

Bloody Urine using Celebrex
My husband has been on Eliquis 5 mg. for over 5 years. His arms have be discolored by the bruising. After a Rheumatologist put him on Celebrex for one month, he had bloody urine for 12 hours. I had him stop the Eliquis. Has anyone been switched to 2.5mg without any trouble? The Celebrex works well

Blood thinner meds causing unbearable PMR swelling and pain
Diagnosed with PMR after back surgery 2.5 years ago. Also had deep vein thrombosis, and again after hip replacement a year ago. Tried Xarelto and Eliquis and both caused intolerable pain and immobility within two days. Had to stay in rehab for 3 weeks after hip surgery to force myself to stay on warfarin

Blood glucose levels higher
Anyone taking Eliquis had their glucose levels get higher? Mine has gone up since taking this. Never never ever have I had my glucose over 100. Normal is between 70-100 for non-diabetics. My level has always been very good. In the 70's. Last labs I had before starting Eliquis it was 79. Very good. In

Eliquis and onset of Declining Kidney Function
Just wondering if anyone has seen a correlation to Eliquis or similar drugs and declining kidney values in bloodwork? All normal values including creatinine/bun/egfr and within 6 months of starting this drug all values declined; Kidney doc & cardiologist say don't think related but I don't see how

So sick
Belindalore here. Just laying around today. No energy to do anything. Almost went back over to the hospital but didn't. Just a waste of time. Drs don't believe anything about the horrible side effects I'm having taking this poison Eliquis. I honestly don't know how much longer I can do this. I'm so
