Is it better to up Flixotide or Ventolin?
Took cetirizine, usual 2 x Flixotide bid but now
Ventolin
too, still bad. Better outside but can't live out there. Which one shall I use more of till it settles down? Thanks.š¤·āāļø

Duoresp spiromax
He suggested I try duoresp spiromax as a reliever instead of
ventolin
, with a view to replacing seretide also in the future if I wanted to. I tried it one day when I was a bit chesty in damp weather. I had a really bad reaction in seconds.

Trimbow vs Trelegy?
Since being on Trimbow my breathing is no better and I am using
Ventolin
daily. I have a dry cough all the time but my throat is full of mucus if that makes any sense. The cough wakes me at night. Is it likely I would be better on Trelegy?

Do you shake your Trimbow?
My
Ventolin
says I must shake it before use; my Spiriva said I should not shake it; the Trimbow leaflet doesnāt say one way or the other. Iāve tried googling, and found some sites say shake, some say donāt - all reputable sites. So: do you shake your Trimbow? Or doesnāt it really matter?

Does Ventolin need spacer?
I use spacer for Flixotide, 2 Puffs bid, rarely have to use
Ventolin
now but did today without. Wondered if I should use spacer which would have traces of Preventer still in it?

Salumol
Thanks to all who replied to my recent post about the switch from
Ventolin
. Seems inhaler technique is all important so will watch that.

Management of Cough Variant Asthma
During a CVA episode, we're advised to dose his with
Ventolin
as needed as we could be talking 4-8 puffs every 4-6 hours for around a 1-2 day period, with it tailing-off after that.

Ventolin versus Salamol reliever inhalers
Iāve read a number of comments on this site concerning the move from
Ventolin
to Salamol inhalers. People are concerned that the Salamol inhaler is much weaker, therefore needing more puffs than the
ventolin
equivalent and I have also read about the bad taste of Salamol inhalers.

Visiting Japan / Tree Pollen
but have been well controlled for many years on preventative inhaler with very occasional use of
ventolin
. Iām aware some things can still trigger my asthma though and my mum always said tree pollen was a trigger for me.

Does peak flow increase in non asthmatics following ventolin?
Say someone has no classic symptoms of asthma (wheezing, breathlessness or coughing). Peak flow has always been low their whole life but has a small variation everyday (290- 330). Spirometry is normal (including above average fev1). No change in peak flow following a 5 week steroid inhaler trial. Can

Confused .com
Obviously I am getting through
ventolin
day and night. I also have bronchiectasis diagnosed in 2017 and when well I don't cough at all and have very little if any sputum. I am under the local community respiratory team too who always advise re steroids. The pattern is always the same.

Congestion
I have
Ventolin
for asthma when required. I do have Carbocisteine which I am currently on a break from. Any ideas would be so greatly appreciated.

Heart Medicine Increased inhaled steroid absorption.
We stopped the Arnuity with absolutely no pulmonary effects; I seldom need
Ventolin
.. Hard to improve while muscles so weak but it has improved since stopping Arnuity. I became suspicious when I felt as if I was on a higher dose and looked/felt it. I did my research and contacted my doctors.
