Salamol inhaler
You're not the first to comment on the effectiveness of Salamol vs Ventolin. I'm glad you were able to get your Ventolin back and great that you GP surgery acted so quickly. 🤗
I’m so pleased you were able to get your ventolin back. I tried salamol but it just doesn’t work as well. I’m tired of hearing “it’s the same drug”. Yes, we know that, but the formulation means it’s not as effective. My gp said some asthmatics are fine with it but those at the severe end are better on ventolin
I find Salamol just as effective as Ventolin was, especially used with my new shorter spacer. That said, my preventer inhaler, Duoresp Spiromax 320/9 is very effective, meaning that I hardly use the reliever inhaler. I disagree with your GP's sweeping generalisation.
To be fair, I don’t think “some asthmatics are fine with it” is a sweeping generalisation.
Do you use a preventer inhaler as well?
