Thanks to all who replied to my recent post about the switch from Ventolin. Seems inhaler technique is all important so will watch that.

With regard to the environment, 2 years ago we made a diet change only meat we eat is chicken, no more than twice a week, the least polluting of all meats to produce, the rest of our diet is vegetarian, drive less than 500 miles a year, cycle, walk, bus or train for the rest of it. Sorry to sound self entitled but if I can’t have a bit of Ventolin then it’s come to something when people we know are jetting off to the Med, or cruising the high seas. May mention that to my GP if I feel I have to ask for a change of meds. Rant over. Thanks again to you all consider it closed.

Every sympathy for you I used to be on Ventolin and now my GP practice has switched to salamol It’s supposed to have the same ingredients but I felt that Ventolin was better maybe all in my mind It certainly doesn’t have 200 puffs in it Apparently salamol is cheaper

I agree with you . We goodies try to do our bit for the environment, but get deprived of the one thing which would make our lives better. PS Since hopefully most of a dose of Ventolin goes into us, can it really be doing that much damage to the atmosphere?
