New Inhalers
Now have had x-ray, CT & PET scan - my inhaler was changed from Ultibrow to Anoro - & I now have Easyinhaler instead of
ventolin
. Also put me on Carbocisteine 375mg x 2, 3 times a day, I did ask what these were for and just told that they help.

Flying with Bronchiectasis ?
I currently have 2 inhalers (
Ventolin
and Fostaire) and I am taking Azithromycin 3 days a week. I would love to go to Majorca in September as I haven"t been away for over 3 years but not sure how this will affect me ? Best wishes to all . X

Whooping cough
(I don't feel like my asthma is flaring but I did try taking
ventolin
to see if that would help but it made it so much worse!)

Losing breath
I do my

Prednisone use.
I am unable to use most puffers other than
Ventolin
as I react badly to them, spasms, hoarseness, foggy eyes etc etc. My Doctor recently gave me Trelegy Ellipta and was hopeful I wouldn't react but I did.

Relvar 184/22 - MART equivalent
Hi I've been on Relvar 184/22 and
ventolin
for a long while, I'm well controlled but still take too much
Ventolin
out of habit I think - Just wondering what would be an equivalent MART inhaler dose that would replace both current inhalers and in your experience is it worth investigating ths change

I'm on Montelukast, Carbocisteine, Spiriva, Flutiform, and
Ventolin
, as well as having Ipatropium and Salbutamol Nebulisers. My asthma nurse suggested changing my steroid inhaler to Fostair, but she was hesitant in case it made my asthma worse.

Inhalers.......
However he has now decided NOT to use the spacer but to squirt the Fortistair and the
Ventolin
directly into his mouth. He is very stubborn and can be verbally abusive so I am limited to what I can say and I do keep getting told I have no medical qualifications.

Airway management
Been told by my new Consultant to only use
Ventolin
when I wheeze? I have for Bronchiectasis . Previously I was told use four times a day to help with airways. Since changing to this new advice I have found my breathing has not been as good. Any advice please. Still quite new to all this.

Good News!
He said it's rare but not uncommon, to develop Asthma this late in life and as the steroid spray and
Ventolin
help with the breathlessness-no need to check in for a year. Eye specialist says cataracts are worse but not bad enough for surgery ATM, so clear for my long distance travel in Sep.

Change in weather affecting asthma
I opened the windows for more than an hour to freshen up the air in my flat, but still felt poorly, so I took 2 puffs of
Ventolin
. It helped a bit, but I still feel I can't take a deep breath and I'm getting tired easily. Has anyone else had this kind of issue?

Fostair and Ventolin
My GP told me I don't need
Ventolin
because the Fostair can be used in the same way as the
Ventolin
when needed. Why then so many years I've been taken the
Ventolin
prescribed and the Fostair used only in the morning and evening. Any comments on this would be much appreciated. Thank you so much.
