I have had asthma most of my life and was told I had COPD about four years ago. I was on Symbicort, then Trixeo but I kept having exacerbations. Two months ago a clinical pharmacist offered me a choice between Trimbow and Trelegy. I chose Trimbow, not realising two of the medications are the same as Fostair. Since being on Trimbow my breathing is no better and I am using Ventolin daily. I have a dry cough all the time but my throat is full of mucus if that makes any sense. The cough wakes me at night.
Is it likely I would be better on Trelegy?

Hi Alith2, I am on Symbicort 400/12, 2 puffs x 2 daily not sure what your dosage was and fingers crossed I’m doing ok on it but I have only been diagnosed with asthma and not copd. Sorry can’t be of any help re: the other inhalers. Hope you get some helpful info from others 😊
Since I habe changed from SYmbicort to Fostair I am 100% better. It took around 3 weeks to feel better but by now I am really good. Never heard or tested theTrimbow. Hope you will feel better soon.
