A few medical issues since starting DuoResp Spiromax 160/4.5 Budesonide/formoterol three weeks ago
Ventolin
has little effect, even after 10 puffs. Recently I have felt very tired as if my oxygen is low (I do not have a O2 sensor) and thirsty despite drinking over two litres of water every day.

I was wondering….
For rescue, I take
Ventolin
. The last appointment I had with my asthma team, the pulmonologist added Qvar to my Dulara. Singulair and
Ventolin
stayed the same. Has anyone had puffers added to their everyday maintenance puffers, and what classification would this put me in for my asthma? Moderate?

Peak flow increased by inhalers
I used to take seretide 2 puffs twice a day, and
ventolin
when needed. My peak flow used to be at my very best 360, but for a long time 250 - 270 was my max. Since being changed to different inhalers, I've felt a huge improvement and this also is shown through my peak flow increasing.

And another meds change.....
Noticed on the first day that I hadn't been grabbing my
ventolin
at all and even cleaned windows in the evening. Does anyone else use it?

Night sweats
I take
ventolin
and get back to sleep okay and then the next day I’m very fatigued and achey. Just wondered if anyone else had experienced this and whether it’s likely asthma related? I have had a bereavement too recently so I guess it could all be stress related. Many thanks in advance, Kate

Alternative to Fostair - Palpitations
I was switched to Fostair 100/6, 4 puffs a day (& Montelukast) a year ago after a nasty bout of Covid worsened my Asthma, was on Clenil &
ventolin
for many years before switching.

Have to pace myself and carry my
ventolin
with me. Thanks to all who gave me excellent advice. Glad I found this group. Now wait for the results of the not so good lung function test

WEEK 3 RUN 2 - ASTHMA ARRIVAL
Woke up a bit tight chested and bunged up 👃 so popped a bit of good old Vicks Vapour Rub on and had a blast on the
Ventolin
inhaler before heading out to get my joggle on. Managed to get through it and by the end had freed up the old chesticle!

Lost inhaler
I don’t have a spare, but have spare
ventolin
. I last took it yesterday morning (sat) so have currently missed (almost) 3 doses. I take Fostair 200/6 two puffs x twice a day.
Ventolin
as needed. I will ring GP and ask for a prescription but it usually takes two days.

Cambridge masks
My second one, however, which I used for the first time a few days ago seemed to cause me a mildish asthma attack (two lots of
Ventolin
and a lot of exhaustion) .

Asthma decline
I take all my inhalers via spacer and use my
ventolin
2 puffs up to 6 times a day at the moment. I'm day 4 of the new course of pred but feel no better and the cough has returned. Have you got any other recommendations?

It seems different
Hi everyone, I have moderate copd and take Trimmbow twice daily and
Ventolin
when required. The last few days I’ve been unusually short of breath. I can’t really explain it but something is different.

Clenil, Why should I take it?
I take a shot of
ventolin
when I need to, primarily my triggers are after a bout of sneezing, laughter, during a bad cold, etc. I may be old(ish), but I'm not overweight, healthy and walk daily so I'd say my Asthma is mild and I take
Ventolin
only when I have symptoms.

Asthma Returned?
Awaiting a chest xray and have
ventolin
which I am using a lot but my main concern is pain in between my shoulder blades. Is this a normal side effect of asthma? Sorry for the long post.
