I had a chest infection last week and this led to an asthma attack I got some good advice. The antibiotics and steroids are starting to work and after discussing with my gp I am returning to work tomorrow. Have to pace myself and carry my ventolin with me.

Thanks to all who gave me excellent advice. Glad I found this group.

Now wait for the results of the not so good lung function test

Glad to to hear you're on the mend! 🙂 Definitely carry your ventolin with you (even generally when you feel really well). Good luck with your return to work!

Pleased you getting better. When did you/do you have lung function test? They shouldn’t be doing test when not well and taking antibiotics and steroids because will give false results….

Had the lung function test on friday. My consultant wanted it I told him had chest infection. My peak flows are not good at the best of times so made no real difference
