How Do you Know When You're On Enough B12?
I'm normally on the thyroid forum but have posted on here a few times and I would value your expertise. Sorry for the magnum opus post 😁 I've been on B12 injections for a number of years, used to be every 13 weeks but as I have other conditions, Fibro, Ehlers Danlos and hypothyroid and I've had persistent

Rash after operation
I had a reverse shoulder replacement last Monday. Surgeon said the op went well, and I have a follow-up appointment in ten days. I've had a tough week but morphine has helped pain relief. Of course, there are side effects of severe constipation, now controlled. The day after discharge, 3 days after

I appear to be in some kind of health mayhem currently. I have a number of health issues RA, bronchiectasis, leaking heart valve , macular degeneration all of which require attention. Recently I have been found to have a basal cell carcinoma in the corner of my eye which has turned into a nightmare.

They’ve only done the tsh this time (actually I think that will be the norm now), but strangely the return of my symptoms coincides with an NHS tsh test of 1.96 which is EXACTLY the same tsh result as Sept last year when symptoms returned and I asked for the test and then for a small increase from 50

Still a lot of foreskin (that seems to be sticking) after circumcision.
Hi, I am 33 years old and I had a circumcision performed by the NHS 4 days ago. I have a few questions as I am worried about the healing process and if it is normal and if others have shared the same experience. Firstly, it seems that not enough foreskins has been taken off and the head of the penis

Period flu?
Just wondering if anyone is experiencing what I am. I underwent excision surgery for stage 3 endo in November, however more recently the pain is worsening again but right now that’s not the worst symptom- the last 3/4 months, either during or instantly after my period I’m hit with the WORST flu/cold

RLS worse after knee replacement
I've taken Pramipexole for a long time and it's worked. However, after recent knee replacement surgery (7th Feb), the RLS is driving me mad. I'm up every night after 1 or 2 hours' sleep and end up taking an opioid to settle it.Can the pain from the knee be causing it? Any advice welcome.

Recurrence?im scared
I don't know where to start because I'm scared to death. I already made a post about my situation but I need to talk more about it with people who understand my situation. My mother, my beloved mother... my reason for living. In 2020 she underwent surgery for stage one seromucinous adenocarcinoma

fallopian cancer return
hi everyone. After chemo, surgery and chemo, was cancer free we thought. But now it has return in the lymph nodes after 6 months and my dr wants to do carbo with dioxin. Has anyone done this combo? If so how bad were side affects? Hair loss? Heart problems? She also suggested Elahere. Anyone

Scoliosis
Hi, I am an adult with scoliosis of the spine. My curvature is severe, but I am well otherwise. I have not opted for surgery. I could not see scoliosis listed as one of the conditions in the 'Neuro Support' information. Is this forum for people with scoliosis? Would appreciate any feedback. Many

Asthma Inhalers And Gerd
I know heartburn, indigestion, Gerd and silent reflux are common hypo syptoms but I thought I would add they can also be a side effect of certain asthma inhalers, particularly steroid ones. The NHS is trying to change as many asthma sufferers on inhalers to the dry powder inhalers (DPI) instead of the

Mirena Coil
Hey all, I have an appointment tomo with my NHS gyne. He's going to see if he'll be able to fit the mirena coil 'normally' or wether it'll have to be done with some sort of guidance as i have a tilted uterus. Feels like my health has just plummeted since Christmas and I'm in extreme pain daily. Worried

Mini Maze update
I had my surgery at Sheffield Northern General on the NHS. I live in Essex so my daughter and son in law took me to Sheffield and stayed in a hotel while I was in hospital. I had my surgery on 15th March, a day later than planned due to cancellation on 14th. I was told 2 different reasons, so don’t

bleeding post-op
I had endometriosis removed from ovaries about 7 weeks ago. I started bleeding just under 2 weeks ago, not heavy, but enough to fill a pantiliner & bright red. Doctor not concerned, but has booked a scan for a couple of weeks time to check. I have read periods can be longer, heavier etc after & they

Possible Adrenal Insuffiency
Some advice please. I’ve been on prednisolone for PMR since 2014. I’ve been stuck on 5mg for maybe six years. I now have two compression fractures in my spine and multilevel degeneration, so I’m trying again to reduce using Dorset Lady’s simple reduction over five weeks - that’s 0.5mg over five weeks
