Boosters and Third Doses - is there a difference?
I have GPA and recently had what was called a 'booster' dose following the two Covid vaccinations I received earlier in the year. Since receiving the booster, I have had a letter from the NHS stating that I may also need a third dose. However yesterday I had one of my twice-yearly consultations with

Natural infection versus vaccination: Differences in COVID antibody responses emerge
Vaccination
produces greater amounts of circulating antibodies than natural infection. But a new study suggests that not all memory B cells are created equal.

Same question for Covid
vaccination
. Plus I had my vaccines at month 4 and month 6 after previous chemo…so I think looking at gov advice that means they were probably not fully effective? Thanks all Xx

Johnson & Johnson's COVID vaccine does not contain PEG or PG, but it does contain polysorbate. Some of us with glycol allergies react to polysorbate and some don't. I had no information about whether or not I'd react to polysorbate because it wasn't on my radar to avoid until recently. I was getting

Beat Covid in 8 Days
I was triple vaccinated and still got Covid. I did have mild symptoms. Worst thing is pink eye in one eye. I received the monoclonal antibodies and now 8 days after first symptoms am testing negative.

Proving vaccine status in 12-15 year olds
There must be others on here that are in the same situation as me and I'm wondering if anyone has found a solution. I'm on immunosuppresents and as a result my 13 year old daughter has been double vaccinated. I can't find out how to prove this though for international travel. The covid pass isn't available

Vaccine and PSA spike
I have read only one report of a doctor speculating that a covid
vaccination
can cause a temporary rise in PSA. Anyone seen any more and what are your thoughts on this possibility ?

CLL and vaccination
If CLL is an over abundance of white blood cells and white blood cells are the cells that fight off diseases and viruses shouldn’t we have more protection from viruses than the ordinary person? I hope I phrase that right, I am at a quandary. I talked with my Hematologist yesterday couldn’t get an answer

Is there a link between attitudes to covid vaccination and the rejection of conventional medicine in the treatment of PD?
I was going to respond to one of Marc's posts about the lack of covid data in the USA with this guardian article https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/oct/02/us-hits-700000-covid-19-deaths-coronavirus But. Marc's post vanished. That's fair enough if it was about covid and not PD. But this is about

What medications are safe to take if I test positive for COVID?
So far I have been lucky not to get COVID. I am double vaccinated and have recently had my booster. I know that eventually it is inevitable and we are all likely to catch it at some point to varying degrees of effects. I have APS and Lupus and I take warfarin, hydroxychloroquine and vitamin D. I thought

So we had Covid19!
Dear all, I thought I share our experience of Covid19 and update you on how we managed it. Please note, the cases are increasing and people with long term conditions can never be too careful. I tested positive about three weeks ago after a slight pain on my upper back (right lung) and felt extremely

Three vaccinations and breakthrough case
So I did what they said, two covid shots. When they approved the booster, I was in line the first weekend. Now after a non vaccinated came to work with covid, I tested positive. So far mild symptoms but the fear factor is there. Sadly I live in California with a woke policy if anything that helped

THE THIRD SHOT
Please note that I have not yet been called in for my third Covid dose for immunosuppressed individuals, even though NHS England instructed all GP practices to begin vaccinating this group with a third dose as part of their primary
