Flu and Covid jabs
My GP has invited me to have a flu and Covid
vaccination
. I suspect that this is due to me being registered as B12 deficient with PA as I’m not usually entitled to those jabs on the NHS each year at my age. I currently SI B12 EOD and take recommended cofactors.

Spring Vaccination Spikevax XBB.1.5.
Has anyone had any nasty side effects from this new spring
vaccination
, I always had Pfizer in the past but was told that nobody was, only the spikevax was available. I had no side effects from Pfizer in the past, but have had a few from Spikevax.I hope everyone is coping with this warmer weather.

Tetanus Vaccine Decreases Incidence of Parkinson’s Disease and Slows Its Progression

not pmr again
Well much to my surprise my pmr symptoms appear to have been caused by the Covid
vaccination
that I had last week. As I posted, my GP suggested that I hold off taking prednisone over the weekend to see if the symptoms disappeared. And they did!

Trelegy and pneumonia?
I have read that people who are on Trelegy are a lot more likely to get pneumonia but I had the
vaccination
a couple of years ago so I am a little confused. Does anyone know anything about this?

Just got COVID Vaccination #10.
With the rapid rise of FLiRT making it's way across the Country (U. S.), It seemed a good time to get another. I'm trying to keep it a tri-annual occurrence. Those 65+ and immunocompromised are eligible for one more dose before next roll out. I got a little push back from the pharmacist today, "You're

feels like relapse following CT scan with contrast
Hi everyone, I have Graves arising post a
vaccination
in 2022 and exacerbated when I had covid. I went into remission a year ago but have relapses when I have a
vaccination
. I had to have a heart CT scan and I asked about the iodine and risks.

Pneumococcal vaccine
Reminds me of the first two Covid
vaccination
side effects (passed in a day or so). It's a bit frustrating but obviously a very sensible vax to get. All the best!

To accept flu and covid jabs invite?
Had my first shingles
vaccination
March this year after being on prednisolone for 2 months (on 10mg I think ) I had read so many posts about PMR being induced by jabs or illnesses …… just can’t decide what to do? Just the flu one? Both? Neither? I’m down to 7mg pred, actually 6.75 mg today!

Pneumonia vaccination
Thank you everyone who replied, i hope i missed no-one out . It’s reassuring to have ‘friends’ on here who understand. I shall be having my jab next week. I had no problem after the flu and covid jabs, i really don’t know why i’m worrying. Fear of the unknown i guess,

pneumonia vaccination
I have been told to get my pneumonia jab , i’m not worried about sore arm, but i’m just a bit concerned i might feel poorly after. I didn’t feel poorly after my flu jab or covid booster. Any reassurance would be appreciated. Thank you.

Will a COVID (or flu) vaccination affect my blood results?
If I have a blood test 3 or 7 days after a COVID (or flu)
vaccination
- will it affect my blood results? Should I perhaps make the
vaccination
after the blood test, so that there is no potential issue interpreting my blood results?

To be or not to be Immuno-suppressed? That is the Question!
In my efforts to source a Pfizer
vaccination
I've contacted my GP surgery, over 20 local pharmacies and the NHS covid helpline, but no one has been able to help me source a Pfizer vaccine.

Another Vaccine Dilemma! To have, or not to have a Tetanus Booster.
I've previously learnt on here that live vaccines are not recommended whilst on long term steroid medication, and that in many situations, alternative vaccines are available... as with the shingles
vaccination
program.

Slightly off topic but relevant………
I am aware there’s all sorts of variations as to who gets what after
vaccination
but interested to know if anyone else suffered from dizziness/ vertigo and how long did it last.? I was fine before the jab so suspect it’s got to be the problem.
