Thyroid and vitamin D
Can an over treated thyroid deplete vitamin D levels? I know vitamin D is needed for thyroid health and wellbeing but I wondered if it can be depleted this way or any other way. Thank you

Hi everyone! so I recently had a therapy session in which my therapist said that low vitamin d levels can cause anxiety attacks and depression? I don’t know if I believe that’s I am low on vitamin b and d and took those vitamins on and off and don’t recall them helping me. Anyone feel better after

A little too much T3?
Hi all Just got my latest results back from Medichecks, blood drawn at 9:15am (later than I would like, but 1st appt at local hospital, as I hate having to stab my fingers). I take 100mcg of T4 first thing and 12.5mcg of T3 twice a day (first thing and at bedtime). I was diagnosed with Hashis in 2014

Dear members, I´m new here and I´m so lucky to find this amazing community! My name is Lena (32 y.o., 167 cm/81 kg) and I live in Germany. Unfortunately, I failed to get any proper medical assistance concerning my thyroid problems and that´s why I´m self-medicating (T3-mono). I´m asking for any help

Blood results help
I posted back in December with my lab work. At that time, the doctor prescribed me liothyronine. After talking with you all, I requested an increase in levothyroxin to 75mcg, which she agreed. I also started taking supplements. I am posting a picture of my labs from yesterday. The top image is that

Vitamin supplements
I currently take evening primrose capsules and vitamin D tablets together late afternoon (primrose includes vitamin E). Is it better to separate these or to take with food? They both have added incipients. Should I be looking for natural vitamins instead? Also, I have purchased some Liposomal vitamin

Theacrine - Potential Caffeine Alternative with Anti-PCa potential?
I have a very mentally intense job and only drink a cup of coffee a day and maybe occasionally in the afternoon a supplement 100mg Caffeine + 100mg Theanine. It's more focus I need than energy (almost as if I have mild ADHD.) So I don't take a lot of supplements since my surgery and I'm still undetectable

Updated blood test results- is hypo the cause of my symptoms?
This blood test was taken at 9.15am. I had a previous blood test in February with a private GP, who suggested that thyroxine levels were depleting as TSH was slightly raised. Initial blood test (taken at 9am): TSH 4.28, free T3 4.6, free T4 15.6. So it seems like my results have improved since then

Vitamin D, Fish Oil and NOACS?
Hi folks. On GP advice, and following the example of many lovely people on this forum, I take Vitamin D as one of my daily supplements. (The others are Vitamin C and Magnesium). I'm also taking Apixaban and other meds for BP and AF. I've noticed on the Vitamin D container label it says that the Vitamin

Advice on new results please in preparation for completing e-consult
Thank you for all the advice I have received previously. Unfortunately GP seems intent on ignoring my symptoms. Every time I complete an e-consult form requesting a medication review I am sent for another blood test and then hear nothing until I request results only to be told they are ‘normal’ and

What to do about supplements when going abroad
What do you do about supplements when flying? I don't want to take full packs of everything but can't see airlines letting you take a tub with mixed supplements in. I'm thinking of magnesium in particular. I also have a large bottle of vitamin C plus selenium and zinc emulsion but unfortunately it's

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me with these results. I am currently on 100mg Levothyroxine and feeling like all of my Hypothyroid symptoms are coming back. I also take HRT oestrogel and Ultogestan progesterone, I take these much later in the day so as not to affect my Levothyroxine which I take first

Thyroid results - advised to get bone scan
Hi everyone Please can I ask about my recent Medichecks results. The results below are similar to my usual results over recent years. The medichecks doctor suggested I get a bone density scan to monitor for development of osteoporosis, due to my long history of low TSH (0.01 to 0.001). They advise

Fatigue after eating
Hello - I was diagnosed with decompensated cirrhosis in 2020 and then as compensated in 2021, and have been feeling fairly well since then - eating well (with a few treats!) and looking after myself. How to get a referral to an endo for central hypothyroidism?
I have a friend who has struggled with classic symptoms of hypothyroidism (depression, fatigue etc) for many years now. Her TSH has remained completely normal at around 1.5, so hypothyroidism was never suspected until I got involved and got her to ask for her T4 to be tested, which came back right at
