I have a very mentally intense job and only drink a cup of coffee a day and maybe occasionally in the afternoon a supplement 100mg Caffeine + 100mg Theanine.
It's more focus I need than energy (almost as if I have mild ADHD.) So I don't take a lot of supplements since my surgery and I'm still undetectable but understandably very leery at taking anything (there's a ton of stuff out there) other than stuff with a well-established safety record like Vitamin D.
So I ran cross Theacrine which is similar to Caffeine but without the energy kick and the subsequent come down. Unfortunately there's little data except in vitro it does appear to attenuate epithelial mesenchymal transition (EMT) at least in breast cancer cells and I did further reading to confirm EMT is also a component in Prostate Cancer Cell progression it appears. So that's encouraging. Just wondering if anyone else looked into Theacrine and what their thoughts were?
