Can an over treated thyroid deplete vitamin D levels? I know vitamin D is needed for thyroid health and wellbeing but I wondered if it can be depleted this way or any other way.
Thank you

Low vitamin D is extremely common with any autoimmune disease
So yes very common with Graves’ disease as well as with Hashimoto’s
Similarly low B12 and folate common with both
Thank you. I had an overactive thyroid treated with radio iodine years ago, but the GP said there were no antibodies at diagnosis, and it could have been a virus or other reason for why it went overactive. Does that mean it is not classed as Graves decease?
