Fatigue after eating

Hello - I was diagnosed with decompensated cirrhosis in 2020 and then as compensated in 2021, and have been feeling fairly well since then - eating well (with a few treats!) and looking after myself. However, over the last couple of months, I have been struggling again with extreme fatigue, inverted sleep patterns and brain fog. GP did blood tests and liver bloods were normal (the first time I ever got normal bloods back!). The only thing wrong was a Vit D deficiency which has been treated and I am making sure I get all my nutrients. However I am still struggling and this week, I got a letter from the liver nurse advising that my last US showed a bright, patchy liver which I believe refers to fatty deposits? I am left wondering if my symptoms are caused by this despite the normal bloods? I have cut out all the naughty stuff from my diet in an effort to reverse this, but have now noticed that just the act of eating triggers my tiredness - even a small, healthy snack. If I don't eat, I get a strange, constant gnawing feeling in my stomach that I never had before but my energy levels seem higher. I know I should be asking the specialist, but I don't always get satisfactory answers and wondering if anybody else has experience of this? Thanks for reading.

Have you had an endoscopy? I also have the strange gnawing discomfort. When I had my endoscopy it indicated that I had duodenitis so it might be useful for you to have an endoscopy

Thank you Alibaba80 - I think you have pointed me in the right direction and i will request an endoscopy!
