PAD after Pmr
Hi, I just wanted to share what's going on as I've been so worried and upset. I know I've no right to be, I'm fine compared with many of you, but...So I've nearly come to the end of my Pmr...although I don't like saying it in case I jinx it and it flares! I'm on .0.5 pred, and feel fine apart from being

stopping blood thinners for medical procedure
I’m expecting to have a steroid facet joint injection for super painful sciatica caused by bulging disc. To do this, I have to stop blood thinners a week before the procedure so that I don’t bleed into the joints. No problem stopping Ticagrelor, though I’m getting conflicting messages from different

Bleeding gums and aspirin (after scale and polish)
On Thursday I had a scale and polish, and have since found one particular part of my gums bleeding continiously. I have been partly assured by finding evidence on another health forum that this is fairly normal with a deep clean. However, I'm concerned that with aspirin it's might be an issue. Basically

AF and now coronary artery disease at 47. I recently had a CT angiogram and the results aren’t great. Back to being scared and worried.
So I first came on this forum with my Afib diagnosis and was terrified and depressed about the diagnosis and medications. I had good news from my echocardiogram as I had no damage at all. The last hurdle was a CT angiogram sadly I’ve not made it so well past this hurdle. I’m absolutely gutted to be honest

Possibly not an ET symptom but thought I would ask :)
Hi everyone, I thought this place would be a good place to ask as it's a wealth of knowledge 😊 and it might be ET related or not. I have never experienced this before. Yesterday evening at home most of my toes on my left foot suddenly felt very itchy and red and a bit swollen. They are also tender at

Tale of woe, sort of
I've been on ticagerol 90 and other meds (bisoprolol, aspirin, Losartan, etc) since my heart attack in May 2021, with second stent inserted via rotablation in Nov 2021. The surgeon said to continue the blood thinners for a year. I was originally treated at Luton and Dunstable hospital (L&D), and the

FET #5 Taking so much medication I rattle 😜. Thin lining is even thinner!!
Does anyone else feel like they can't keep up with all the medication?! This time I'm on 2 x patches, aspirin, viagra , vitamin E and 4 x progesterone. All this plus vitamins and 3 raspberry leaf teas a day!! 🤪. My skinny lining is causing problems again, this time I didn't even have a bleed after

nausea feeling but in throat
just wanted to ask, over the last couple of days I have a ‘sicky feeling’ but in my throat. It’s like any food I have eaten has not gone down and is stuck in my throat as though you are going to be sick from it…. Not sure if it’s in relation to any other medication I take but not started any new meds

Another covid question Re blood clotting/high risk
So. It's finally got me... At the moment, it just feels like flu with a bad chest (not terrible, just raspy and sore). I'm 4 vaccinated so hopefully it doesn't get wildly worse. But I'm only on day 2 and obviously panicking about the risks of it getting severe. I am struggling to understand exactly what
