Tramadol Chloride
Hi, I had a hernia repair on Friday afternoon (NZ time) and was discharged yesterday. I wasn’t keeping track of how many Tramadol tablets I was taking and it looks like I have take 13 in the past 24 hours (2 at a time max). Is this too many. Can I just ride it out and wait for it to leave my system?

Inguinal Hernia Operation with AFIB
Hi All I had a date in August for a procedure for repair of an inguinal hernia. The hospital have put my operation on hold because of my AFI. They are too concerned about the risks involved in such an operation. On the other hand there is also a danger that my hernia might strangulate and I'd be an

Lupus and Fibromalgyia
Hi all I'm super new to this site. I was diagnosed 3 years ago and it's been downhill ever since. I'm now seeing a psychiatrist for my mental health and he suggested I go back to my rheumatologist and ask to be rechecked. He thinks I may have something else either Lupus or something else. I do contract

Pills and food stuck in esophagus
Hi Everyone, I’m wondering if any of you have had a similar experience to what I’m dealing with. I had a laparoscopic hiatal hernia repair with toupet fundoplication back in September of 2018. Since December, I’ve experienced episodes of a full feeling behind my sternum that comes along with heart palpitations

Hi I am 4 years post Ivor Lewis pull up. At 2 years post I had an obstructed bowel when a loop went into stomach area. Had emergency surgery in a distant city from home. I am now scheduled for a left transthoracic diaphragm hernia repair. Has anyone else had any similar experiences? What were the outcomes

Coming home from hospital today!
I had my Gastric Bypass and hernia repair on Sunday. During surgery I did not go into AF.... I’m now back on all my drugs but have to crush them for 6 weeks!! Heart seems to have withstood the surgery upheaval so I’m pleased... cautiously pleased!

I got my hernia results today.
You have a big
umbilical
hernia
. It’ consists of fat, fluid and intestines. Erm??? Did I really need an ultrasound to be told that? 😂

Can I give a little hope?
He was not allowed to take Spironolactone, as his blood sodium was low, and had to return to hospital for drains every 4 weeks for several months, and developed an
umbilical
hernia
from the fluid build-up.

Bob the umbilical hernia
Well, Bob has decided to grow. It’s not fluid retention as my weight is still the same. I thought he couldn’t get any bigger but he has. ☹️ On another note, why are all American men called Randy? Cheers, Brett

How my AF started...
Question for all the very knowledgeable people on here: Background: I had a Sleeve Gastrectomy (weight loss surgery) in 2012. Extremely successful up until 3 years ago when I began to gain weight but I wasn’t eating more. Then I started having to force myself to be sick after eating just a tiny bit

Surgery and AFIB
I'm due to have an open mesh hernia repair under general anaesthetic soon. Since organising it with the consultant I have gone back into AFIB. I was 13 months into NSR with ectopics after a previous cardioversion. My cardiologist gave the all clear but wanted me to increase bisoprolol from 2.5mg to 5mg
