Non-zero Anti-Tg after total thyroidectomy
Hello again, actually I posted a result about my TSH level increase hours ago but while looking in to results I realized that, although my Tg is <0.04 my anti tg is : AntiTg 13.3 IU/mL 0 - 115 I had total thyroidectomy 8 years ago and had RAI. My previous post: https://healthunlocked.com/thyroiduk

Teva levothyroxine solution, any positive results for anyone?
Hi Has anyone tried Teva levothyroxine solution, and had positive results compared to taking any levothyroxine tablets? To cut a very long story short, the 75 mcg Wockhardt tablets I take are causing terrible pressure all over body and excruiciating burning through top of my head. So bad I collapse.

OA in hip and right shoulder
I've tried Voltaren, Duloxetine ( which did not stop the pain) Aleve, Tylenol, shot in the hip. I really don't want surgery, I'm 69. I even tried castor oil poultice.Id like just like to manage pain at night so I can sleep.... During the day when I'm up I can deal but nights are the worst.

Just a little rant
One thing I have learned since being diagnosed with Osteo is that this medical condition is a money maker for big pharma. I would encourage everyone to look up publication on actual studies done around the world with men and women with osteo and what they were given naturally along with calcium supplementation

Nubeqa vs Abiraterone for post Docetaxel maintenance?
Thanks to the many on this board that offered suggestions I will soon complete a slightly modified triple therapy of ADT+ABI+Docetaxel. My challenges with side effects included eliminating Tylenol and reducing ABI for one cycle; and then, switching from 1000mg ABI on empty stomach to 250mg ABI+ 10mg

Supplements - Dangerous, Essential or Useless?
Wizard recently made an interesting post on the "drive to minimize supplementation" that I wanted to respond to in-depth. The post: https://healthunlocked.com/pasoc/posts/150006558/the-drive-to-reduce-minimize-supplementation I decided a long form response would be better, thus my separate post here.

T4 Reduction to increase TSH
In January I was taking 150 T4 daily and 2x5mg T3, my bloods were T4=18.1 (9-19) T3 4.98 (2.6-5.7) TSH <0.03(0.35-4.94). I have been taking T3 since Oct 2019 because I felt so ill, tired, hair loss, dry skin, muscle and joint problems. With the help of much advice on here I started taking supplements

Naturally high vitamin B12
I have had a few tests over the last few years which include Vitamin B12. I am worried that I may not be transporting it to cells as it is very high fir someone does not take supplements. See photo? Everything I question this the doctor just says we'll that's good isn't it. Is it? From what I read

Health News: Nourishment for Eyes
When my Mom was 6, an Alsatian (German Shepherd) dog jumped up on her, jarring her head round to look, left her with a cast in her right eye. Known as strabismus, the ancient Greek for squinting. More accurately, it means the affected eye can’t really focus and can thus appear as a cross-eye. Off her

Raised ALT and GGT after surgery but worried about Hepatitis/other illnesses
Hi, I have been feeling unwell for a while, which I think is mostly anxiety. Nausea throughout the day, a bit of fatigue and sweating at night. I went away with friends and had a very hard drinking weekend, the week after until the present day (3 months) has been horrible. Nausea and fatigue mostly.

Endo is recommending radioactive iodine
At my last endocrinology appointment, it was strongly suggested I have radioactive iodine therapy. I'm not terribly keen, for reasons that many of you here have pointed out. I still don't know for sure that I have Graves'. The endo didn't think it mattered if it was Graves' or not, she would still recommend

Hello! I am 20 years deep at age 40 into basically helping doctors regulate my thyroid after a horrible medical overdose at age 17 my thyroid was never the same ….perhaps it was like that as a kid from a traumatic move because I gained 40 pounds seemingly overnight, however I didn’t become medicated

Replacement therapy and TSH levels
I have primary hypothyroidism after RAI 35years ago.I feel good on 200mg with a surpressed TSH Meds have been reduced again and my TSH is on the way up it’s now 81.32% through the range. I know that for my condition my levels should be low TSH with high T4 Is there any research or papers I could
