NHS Endocrinology appointment with results of NHS T3 tests. Are latest bloods in my favour or will they work against me?
my
TSH
is suppressed due to the T3, but how about the rest of my bloods?

Just a follow up to my post last week
I was feeling quite stressed at the prospect of having to have a telephone consultation with my GP and feared a low
TSH
was going to result in being told a reduction in levo would have to follow!

thyroid tablets
hi all I recently started armour tablets as I was still having symptoms with 100 of Levo with a
TSH
of 0.06. I feel slightly better with less tiredness and pain in legs. However the private prescription is costing me £130 a month. This is going to be difficult long term.

Endocrinologist appointment and Liothyronine increase. Is it enough?
The NHS base everything on
TSH
. I cannot afford private testing. I know this doesn't give the full picture, which is obviously better to judge, but can anyone advise. Was I right, or is the endocrinologist being too cautious. Thanks folks

Interpreting new results ahead of Dr's appointment.
HDL cholesterol 4.28 (range <4) HDL cholesterol 1.40 (range >1.2) Total cholesterol:HDL. 3.99 ( range <6) Triglycerides. 1.53 ( range <2.3) I can see that my
TSH
has come way down from 4.87 in July so I'm thinking that my doctor will want to keep me on 75mg Levo.

Exercise and Low Thyroid: Am I doing more harm than good? Advice, please!
I have hypo symptoms, and blood tests show low FT3 and FT4, but normal
TSH
(for reference, last blood test results are below). So far, no doctor or endocrinologist thinks I have any thyroid issue. One of my symptoms has been unexplained weight gain.

Need support with talking to GP/Private doctor. What should my next step be?
I developed palpitations, extremem mood swings, breast soreness, too much hairfall, 5-6kg unexplained weight gain etc etc. while my
TSH
remained stable. Also developed extreme muscle cramps in legs, ankles and feet, stiff back, stiff muscles in other parts of the body.

The thyroid gland under Notch control
Do TFC1 and TFC2 get controlled by
TSH
exactly the same as each other? Or are the response profiles different? Or do different isoforms of
TSH
affect them differently?

My thyroglobulin has increased from 239 in April to 289 in Sept (although
TSH

subclinical hyperthyroidism
Hi everyone, I have had subclinical hyperthyroidism for a few years with my
TSH
results going in and out for a while. The last couple of years they have been just out of range consistently so my NHS endocrinologist put me on carbimazole 5mg but it didn’t suit me.

Hunger advice
I have only recently (2 weeks) started to increase my thyroxine from 75/100 to 100 per day due to recent low T4 for me, T3 was above 50% but
TSH
was climbing. However, I still experience feeling hungry, particularly at night, when I have already eaten my evening meal.

GP ignorance
Has been diagnosed with thyroid issues at 13y.o when high APTO and lots of macro follicles (nodules) in thyroid at ultrasound were found ( my fT4,T4,
TSH
were in a normal range that time though).

Can of worms
Recently I had a blood test and all was fine apart from my GP almost having a heart attack regarding my suppressed
TSH
. She insisted I reduce my T4 by 25mcgs.

Endo appointment and liothyronine
I have had the blood test, but typical NHS they only test
TSH
. My endo said, last time that I spoke to her, which was in June, she said my
TSH
was coming down and I may or may not, need an increase next appointment.

subclinical hyperthyroid after hemithyroidectomy
My results have come back as abnormal and are below:
TSH
0.10miu/l (0.35-4.94 normal range) Serum free T4 11.3pmo/l (9-19 normal range) Serum free triiodothyronine 4.7pmo/l (2.9-4.9 normal range) I’m assuming the latter is T3? I can’t get a call back from my GP until the end of the week.
