Fed Up
After getting my results doctor has advised if you take thyroxine the NHS will only test
TSH
now. My old doctors used to do T4 and
TSH
. I could never get T3 done. On a positive note new doctor did do my B vitamins which I’ve never had done before. Anyway they said they are all normal.

TSH at 5 weeks pregnant
Hey, I’m 5 weeks pregnant after IVF and my had my
TSH
checked on Monday, it was 2.14, I spoke to my GP yesterday who said I’m under 2.5 so it’s ok and they will check me again in a few weeks and to stay on same dose 125. I had another blood test yesterday and it’s come back at 2.41.

Back to life thanks to this forum! GP Next steps though - further levo increase?
My
TSH
is down but should that be lower still? I do feel so much better but I understand if you are correctly medicated on levo you should be nearer 1-2
TSH
?
I have a further GP apt this week to discuss next steps but they are seemingly being led by me. Should I ask for another levo increase?

explain doctor's note please
However If you think that patient benefits from thyroxine replacement due to low normal FT4 9, then you can give her levothyroxine 25mcg once a day and check her TFTS in 4 to 6weeks to maintain
TSH
of around 2, if
TSH
is suppressed then stop thyroxine replacement."

Help boosting thyroid without medication?

Possible to be both Hyperthyroid & Hypothyroid?
My GP said that as my
TSH
is 1.44 I'm in the sweet spot and an increase isn't required. She then went on to inform my that I had been Hyperthyroid initially and now Hypothyroid.. is that even possible?

T3 prescription
I have spent the last 3 years asking gp for endo referral to be told
tsh
is fine. I'm at my whits end with weight gain! 5ft 2 and 16stone 7lbs I've had enough not to mention the brain fog and rubbish hair and nails. 9 years I've tried every suggestion that's been posted to me on here.

looking for alternative to LDN
His
TSH
etc is checked regularly, especially with coming off LDN but he says he can feel a difference and wondered if there’s any alternative natural remedy he’d be able to take. Thanks for any advice given

High Ferritin - suspected Graves
I am not surprised with my
TSH
reading ( still low) but the Ferritin level is quite concerning! Also my vitamin D is in the " adequate range" should I take a supplement? Thanks for anyones valuable insight. I am having an Ultrasound scan in a couple of weeks time.

Euthyroid Thyroid Eye Disease
My opthalmologist says she's reluctant to diagnose TED because my
TSH
, T3 and T4 are normal, though all low end of normal. However, my TRAB (
TSH
receptor Antibody) test came back positive at 2.6. She thinks it is Myasthenia Gravis... but I don't have any of those symptoms.
