taking prednisone pack and Triamcinolone cream fir relief but not getting much relief.

I tried Sarna cream, and then another prescription cream, triamcinolone, and although it worked sort of well, it was short lived. I was grease up like a pig. My scalp still itched bad, and I did not want to put that in my hair. So, I used talc with menthol or tea oil spray for itchy scalps.

Triamcinolone Acetonide .5% ointment (crème doesn’t work) does work but it takes time to dissolve the footprint of the skin sore.

They have offered triamcinolone injections or PUVA light therapy to try and loosen the skin around my wrist. I get the impression it’s a bit of a trial and error as it’s quite a rare condition and there isn’t extensive research.

The only things that calms down the balanitis is hydrocortisone or triamcinolone. But, as soon as I stop it comes back. Everything else seems to make it worse. At least anything that is an ointment agravates it. Has anyone gotten a circumcision because of balanitis and did it actually work?

has anybody had triamcinolone injection for macular oedema. I am having a cataract op in 3 weeks time and I will be having this injection around the eye at the same time. I think it is also called Kenalog

I am wondering if these ointments/creams with steroid such as Fluocinonide 0.05% Clobetasol propionate 0.05% Triamcinolone 0.1% harmful to prostate cancer patients? Thanks,

I have seen the dermatologist and tried Tacrolimus, Triamcinolone Acetonide, Serniv, 2% Hydrocortisone, and Muciprocin. Some help a minor amount but it always comes back. Has anyone dealt with similar and found relief? Any thoughts are much appreciated!

A better option would be a topical nasal steroid like Flonase® (fluticasone), Rhinocort® (budesonide), Nasonex® (mometasone) or Nasacort® (triamcinolone)." Has anyone tried one of these nasal sprays and did it affect your afib or interact with your meds?

But they prescribed Triamcinolone, steroidal skin salve that I would apply twice daily, suggesting I could take a Benedryl to help me sleep (which I wasn't doing because of the itching).

I was dealing with a bit of tip issues towards the end so I continued using Ketoconazole it would help but it was causing Erectile Dysfunction so I went to a Urologist and he gave me a Nystatin and triamcinolone acetonide 0.1% cream for the swelling on my tip.

I am currently taking hydroxychloroquine 200mg twice daily (now on for 3 months), duloxetine (Cymbalta) 30mg once daily for severe pain in hip joints during the night (now on for 2 weeks), and Triamcinolone Acetonide Topical Ointment (0.1%) twice daily for 2 weeks, then once daily to see if it quenches

Derm recommended more topical Triamcinolone and wait out the flare.

This is typically kenalog/triamcinolone acetonide. This may be because they don’t absorb oral steroids properly, or they are found to be non-compliant, or they require long term steroids but the side effects (typically mental health) from prednisolone are so extreme they are switched.
