My Jeff, a beautiful life
Sunday, June 26th, Jeff continued to rest at home. We were so very grateful that his pain seemed completely managed and we didnāt have to fret about his hurting. The hospice nurse visited around 10:00 a.m. and considering the circumstances, Jeff was āokā. His oxygen levels were actually up, his heart

Do I have a hysterectomy?
I have suffered with pain since I was 11 years old and am now 38. I have had 2 coils, 2 laparoscopys, tried tri-cycling my combined pill for years, the mini pill, hormone injections and HRT. I have pain for 7-10days on a 2 weekly cycle and feel like my endo rules my life. I feel like I am not able to

In so much pain from passing large clotsā¦ I really hate my uterus. Fed up! š¢
My usual dose of painkillers isnāt working for my adenomyosis & Endo pain this month. I came on yesterday. I think this month is extra painful because I took the Norethisterone to delay my period for my holiday and I regret taking it so much if thatās whatās causing this unbearable pain. Been in tears

One week post op
Hi I donated a kidney Thursday 16th June.. Was out of hospital on the Saturday 18th..Friday out of bed, shuffling about on my feet, a lot of discomfort. Day of going home a slow walk and feeling very delicate. Felt every bump on being driven home. Next three days progressively better pain wise, though

Diagnostic laparoscopy on Friday
The date is getting closer but the pain is much much worse. I finally was told that I had a cyst on my left ovary a month after having my ultrasound scans, and also after being given the date for my laparoscopy. I recently had to go back to taking desogestrel as I had ran out of the new one and with

Maybe why we wait for a cure
I think I may have previously posted some of this story My first Neurologist was a brilliant doctor and brain surgeon and expert in the cardiovascular system. He was head of cardiology at a world class hospital and known around the world. My M.D. went to school with him and they were good friends

Help Please
Had my first rheumatologist appointment on Thursday, he too, like my two GPs are convinced itās not Polymyalgia. Heās suggesting bursitis, or tendonitis. I had five X-ray, bloodās taken, and a thorough examination of my joints, which he says are all good. Iāve to reduce my steroids, currently on 10,

What pain killers can I take when on HU?
I am experiencing terrible pain in my left hip/ thigh and leg and slept for only one hour last night. I had an X-ray and blood tests on Wednesday and await the X-ray results. Nothing was broken luckily. But meanwhile I am taking paracetamol every four hours which really doesnāt do much. As Iām on Hydroxycarbamide

How should I ask for my pain medication back?
I had an intentional overdose last week on cocodamol. This was due to a number of reason and being abruptly stopped with no antidepressants for over 2 months and very stressful family issues. My mood at the moment is quiet erratic and changes very intensely but I am starting my old antidepressants again

How to end the suffering of Endo???
Does anybody have any ideas on how to end the pain that is part of Endo??, i woke up screaming in pain this morning, and i got a little depressed about it this morning. Has anybody had their endo surgically removed?, is that even possible?. I thought going through the menopause would stop this pain

Bleeding at 6 weeks
Sorry if people see this twice - I originally posted on the other board but realised it should probably be here. I turned 6 weeks today, even had my first morning spent throwing up so was feeling pretty positive. Iāve had a lot of cramping this cycle, from before transfer even so been trying to persuade
