Good evening all. As a CMT 1a from birth but not diagnosed until mid 40s.. Had both ankles realigned and one rebuilt, taking painkillers until they come out of my arse. Have in the past six months met a new woman in my life and she has really helped in looking into all different aspects of this shitty

Lower Back Pain
Hello, I have suffered from lower back pain for years on and off, having MRI Scans, physio sessions, taking pain killers. This year the pain never goes away. The MRI Scan shows dehydrated bulging discs at L4 & L5. I exercise and walk. I really struggle to bend down and sit for over 10 minutes.

Gall bladder surgery
I was hospitalised last June for 10 days as I had an infected gall bladder and scans showed I had a large gall stone.I was put on intravenous antibiotics and pain killers. Fast forward 7 months and no further problems I had a phone call from the hospital giving me a date of 5th February for surgery

back pain
I posted on here a while back about my back pain. I ended up at the walk in centre today as I was in severe pain this morning couldn’t get out of bed and almost passed out because of the pain. I have had a cough for the last few days and this has definitely exacerbated the problem. Again was given more

Explained to my anaesthetist i was very anxious, he made sure i was given a strong painkiller as soon as i was in the anaesthetic room

Calcified tendonitis
Has anyone experienced calcified tendinitis? I have been diagnosed with this after 6 months of excruciating shoulder pain. GP kept just prescribing painkillers then I saw the physio who advised me to have an X-ray. I am now having a steroid injection in my shoulder followed by physio, and hopefully this

Thankful
My husband had his first chemo treatment of 275ml Docetaxel (Taxotere) on 1/11/24 at 2 pm. Thankfully he has had no bad side effects to it except for flatulence. He has not had to take any pain medication since mid day on 1/11/24. Before that he was having to take Oxycodone 10mg every 4 hours or

Post Op abdominal pain
I am only 3 months post oesophagectomy and so appreciate it is still very early days into recovery. However, each morning between 0300 and 0600hr, I wake up with a nagging pain in the lower abdomen just below and to the left of the stomach incision. The pain eases when I get out of bed and move about

Edit: Added the elevation profile from said marathon. Its making my knee twinge just looking at it.
Back in the olden days (2022), I ran the Giant's Head Marathon, and my knee hasn't spoken to me since. It was a brutal course with around 1000m elevation gain that took you across an array

Well it’s 3:30 am here in Georgia USA and have been awake since about 2:30 but I went to sleep around 9:00 so that’s good for me. The ropinorole is still working thank God. Just wanted to update how things are going. I go Wednesday to see dr. Cooper but honestly I’m not very hopeful. I feel like he will
