Hyaluronic Acid and CLL
I have been using a Revitalift over the counter face serum that is 1.5% Hyaluronic Acid sold as a treatment for wrinkles and aging skin. I seem to remember somewhere that there is a tie to CLL. Does anyone have any info on this? TIA

Imbrutinib and High Blood Pressure
My husband has CLL/SLL with 11q deletion. He’s been on Imbrutinib for about three years. He’s suddenly developed high blood pressure that is hard to control. He’s on the highest blood pressure medication. He seeing a cardiologist tomorrow. Has anyone had this experience? I’m very worried.

Rectal Bleeding 1 year after Radiation
From May through July 2020, I had 35 sessions of adjuvant IMRT (RP was in fall 2019). My RO told me to expect rectal bleeding after about 18 months. Since my last RO visit 3 months ago, I've been experiencing bleeding off/on, some fairly heavy, during bowel movements. Can anyone give advice or insight

Rising PSA despite salvage radiotherapy.
I have posted before but may be a short introduction helps. I am 71 yo and was dx of Gleason 6 back in May 2019 with PSA 10.5. Had my RARP in Toronto (Princess Margaret Hospital) in Oct 2019. I did not have lymph node exploration because the urologist did not feel that I needed it with Gleason 6. Pathology

At my wits end

Exercise and medications for PAF
I've been on propafenone (150mg three times/day) and diltiazem for about 2 months now, and my PAF is now well controlled on these meds. I'm on the waiting list for an ablation and have been told it will be 6 months or so before I am likely to get a slot for the procedure. The big issue for me now is

Rising PSA
I have been a reader for a few months and decided to join the conversation. I listed details in my profile so will give a short summary here. RP May 2019. Post ADT and IMRT PSA rise from undetectable last September to 2.1 last month. At my request, urologist and RO are referring me to UCLA for PSMA

PSA Time to Nadir
I'm 54, had RARP and IMRT, and am on the Eligard/Abiraterone regimen. My PSA has decreased from 340 to 0.63 over eight months. I've noticed that some people tend to have an immediate drop. Does the time to nadir indicate how long you will stay at this point before failure? I thought I had seen a

Bisoprolol fumarate with possible AF and raised blood pressure
I was perscribed 1.25mg Bisoprolol fumarate due to possible AF and raised blood pressure. My blood pressure at the surgery was 150/91 with heart rate of 80. I have been taking Bisoprolol fumarate for 7 days. I purchased my own blood pressure monitor, made by Omron. Unfortunately I didn't buy the monitor

When does rising PSA require further treatment.
2010 robotic prostatectomy at City of Hope, 2018 IMRT 3 months ADT at Johns Hopkins. Last 6 PSA tests at 6 month intervals: .03, .04, .04, .05, .02 and last .05. If PSA continues to rise, when is further treatment recommended?

Ductal PCA - Avoid T.U.R.P. and Self Cath
I have serious pissing problems with this cancer and after DX last fall, a TURP was done in December. From that sample, pathology determined this beast to be a Ductal PCA, a very aggressive cancer. Pissing problems returned in March, and the answer was to perform another TURP. Radiation Doc

New to the prostate cancer community
I am 76 years old and recently diagnosed with prostate cancer. A rise in PSA from 5.4 to 7.4 plus a bump felt on my prostate led to an MRI scan. That showed a 2.5x2 cm PIRADS 5 area on right side and smaller PIRADS 3 on the left. A biopsy with 20 samples, 12 random and 4 each of the two areas found
