i am on vacation until Friday. Recently I have found that my Donedarone tablets are sticking in my throat. I was told it may have gone down and just feels like it’s stuck. Subclinical hypothyroidism and cholesterol levels in blood

Change in orgasm feeling after PCa treatment?
Gents, Curious: are you able to orgasm after PCa treatment? If so, is the feeling different than pre-treatment? How is it different? I had IMRT, ADT, and brachyboost. Definitely different for me pre/post- treatment. Sensation is not as intense now. Location of pleasure seems to be more concentrated

Statins and underactive thyroid
I've had an underactive thyroid after radioactive iodine treatment 20+ years ago. After a recent health check - no thyroid results - but cholesterol results are 'a cause for concern'. I'm seeing the nurse next week when I expect statins will be suggested. The results are Cholesterol 6.1mmol/l

Gleason 9 with mets and PCA = 3.7 at time of diagnosis
1st post, I've been reading and learning. Full story is in my bio. Today marks 3 months since I've started ADT, I just had my second Eligard injection and have completed my second month on Zytiga & Prednisone. I also completed day 15 off 44 - IMRT. My PSA was 3.7 at the time of diagnosis, I found

PET PSMA scan and low PSA and Lurpon
Will a PET PSMA scan still essentially function as well to find out where PC lesions exist if one's PSA is low say <1, because of Lupron? Lets say the PSA without Lupron might be a 10, (also no prostatectomy was ever performed.) My radiologist wants me to get the scan so I can then get set up for

SOC options have run out, PSMA negative, declining health - what's next?
My husband was diagnosed with high grade prostate cancer in 4/06 Gleason 4+3=7 in 12/12 cores with 90 to 100% involvement of the tissue cores. His original clinical staging was T2c versus T3. PSA at that time was 6.4. -First treatment was brachytherapy and IMRT. Undetectable PSA never reached. -Recurrance

Serrapeptase
Has anyone used serrapeptase to help with inflammation and the development of urethra scar tissue after IMRT. I have read it is used in Europe to help alleviate pulmonary fibrosis, apparently it has fibrin dissolving properties.

CBC EVERY 2 WEEKS DURING IMRT
I've had 6 of 38 IMRT sessions so far. My RO is having a CBC done every 2 weeks, and my first one was today. Everything was normal except for 3 areas that were low. WBC is at 3.2 k u/L, Hemoglobin (Only) is 13.5 g/dL, and Hematocrit (Only) is 39.1%. I won't be meeting with my RO again until Wednesday

DOES MEDICARE COVER DEXA SCANS FOR MEN WITH PROSTATE CANCER
I have been on Casodex and Eligard since June 2022. My PSA was still high after RALP so I had a GA-68 PSMA PET Scan done which revealed one 11mm tumor in the Left pelvic Lymph Nodes and one 7mm Tumor in the Right pelvic Lymph Nodes. Those were the only 2 hot spots in my body. My Dr. scheduled me for

High intensity focused ultrasound in the therapy of benign thyroid nodules-first German bicentric study with long-term follow-up
This trial could be interesting. After all, ultrasound avoids the issues of radiation present in some other treatments. And also avoids surgery with all its issues. [i]Endocrine. 2022 Apr 27. doi: 10.1007/s12020-022-03058-z. Online ahead of print.

Bm and neck problem
Hi, I had bacterial meningoencephalitis a year ago. The biggest problem I have is neck stiffness that doesn’t go away. I can barely move my neck. I went to physical therapy, ultrasound and laser, but nothing helped me. Due to neck problems, I can't move much. Has anyone had a similar problem and what

High cholesterol
Hi all, I am due to receive cholesterol results over the phone tomorrow and I would like to be prepared. I am a 37 year old female and I know that the familial high cholesterol is in my family, however, I had a cholesterol test about 10 years ago ‘prior to diagnosis’ and it was a healthy 3. However

Ultrasound Therapy for Inflammation
Wondering if anyone has had ultrasound therapy for tendinitis or muscle strain. Was at physical therapy for achilles tendinitis. Was told could try ultrasound for healing but, contraindicated in people with cancer. Tech said, she would recheck this. Wondering if anyone has experienced anything like

Food question
I know a healthy diet is good for keeping the bp and heart healthy and being new to high bp, I was wondering about yogurt as I eat it daily with fresh fruit and granola. I have Greek yogurt generally but is there a better option? I get lower the fat the better but then they are generally higher in sugar

T and PSA basically undetectable. Is adding testosterone or having a colonoscopy 3 years post treatment a good or bad idea for the elderly?
Cancer in late 2019 was G9 with no indication of escaping the capsule. PSA was <10. Treatment initially casodex followed by one session high dose brachy, 25 sessions IMRT and 18 months Lupron. Currently PSA undetectable and T still <2.5. Pushing through a regular exercise routine but have no energy
