I was diagnosed with cholesterol when I was 40 years old, and immediately got put on Atorvastatin by my consultant.
Also not only I have cholesterol, also prediabetes and recently got diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis. Basically a lot is going on with my life.
What I wanted to ask you guys is, I met my partner late in life, due to being over 40, we would like to start a family. I've researched that you have to come off the atorvastatin for at least two before trying. As Anyone come off Atorvastatin to try for a baby? if so how did you keep your cholesterol low without rising and keep a healthy pregnancy by provided good nutrition for the baby?
Please advise and very much appreciated😊.

I really think this is something you're going to have to discuss with your doctor, and perhaps ask for a referral to a nutritionist or dietician (never sure which is the qualified one!). Good luck!
as other suggested, your GP is the best person to answer this question. Regarding Atorvastatin - I am also taking it over number of years and just 4 months back cardiologist increased doses from 20mg to 40mg. I was never off from Atorvastatin and we recently (5 weeks back) have our second baby, also I am 40+. So you really don't have to be off from your medication but again your doctor is your best friend in this regard. Discuss with him/her before taking any decision for your medicine.
