Low AMH and now adenomyosis - feels like the odds are very much against me for IVF, any help/advice appreciated for a newbie to this forum
hi everyone, Quick bit about me - I’m Lisa, I’m 38 and have been off contraception since April 2020 but been unable to get pregnant. We got a GP referral to our local fertility clinic a year ago but discovered I had a low AMH (2.32) and my husband’s semen assessment showed bad morphology (shape less

Does anyone have experience of a national clinic specialising in mild IVF offering higher dose stimulation if appropriate?
Hi, I'm considering the above (with the clinic beginning with C) but can't get an answer to my question without paying for all the pre tests and consultation. Worried going with a new clinic and all this would set me back time wise too. Worried that i won't respond so well to lower stimulation and won't

Testing for smokers
My partner and I have always been social smokers. We would normally have about 5/6 cigarettes that we would share on an evening out which would be 1-2 times a month. December we probably smoked a bit more. But we stopped on the 29th but then had three naught ones that we shared a few days later. This

Progesterone test?
Hi all, So my clinic aren't really sure what to suggest with my continual early losses (i've only had one through IVF but 3 natural ones and 2 ectopics). They are NHS funded so can't really do a lot else in terms of extra testing, which is fair enough. We might try to get a referral to Tommy's recurrent

Marginal Cord Insertion - 20 weeks scan
Me again! At my 20 week scan today they also found that I have a Marginal Cord Insertion, where apparently the umbilical cord isn’t in the centre of the placenta but off to one side with marginal attachment. This has caused me to worry about all different types of things such as pre term delivery, second

Baby Inspo
Hi mamas Little inspo post. I turn 47 in April. Six failed IVF cycles. First hopeful pregnancy test back in 2017. Well. Here she almost is. 36 weeks. Umbilical cord in front of face so a bit fuzzy but even though double donor I think she has my apple cheeks. Good luck out there! I’ll upload

Failed 1st Round IVF, then positive tests, then hormone drop
Hi everyone, I know I’ve posted a couple of times recently, but I find this site a comfort, especially as literally none of my friends are having problems and they’re all getting pregnant. I recently posted that our first round had failed following a bleed before my testing day (last Wed). However,

Nurse found 28 follicles on my left ovary and 16 on my right - so 44 eggs 🤪 I always produce alot, but the most I've had previously was my last cycle with 25 eggs collected. I have a very high amh and pcos. I'm wondering

Hi all, Just wondered what experience people had of having a large number of eggs retrieved? This is my 7th ivf cycle, and my 5th fresh one. First fresh I had 22 eggs retrieved, second cycle I had 17, 3rd cycle I had only 3 eggs (doctors have put this down to a bad month), fourth cycle I had 25 eggs

Merrion Fertility Clinic In Ireland feedback (RoI)
hello ladies, last year I moved to Ireland and had to pick up on my fertility journey here, where everything is prettY much private and there isn’t any public funding for IVF. I did not have much to go on to pick our clinic but in the end decided to go with Merrion Fertility. Has anyone had any experience

Anyone done IVF abroad while using UK clinics/NHS for monitoring?
Hi all - looking for some tips and stories from someone who has done IVF abroad about the kinds of support you had from local NHS and private clinics. I'm a little worried if the clinic of your choice does't have a partner/satellite clinic in the UK, that could affect the quality of support you get and

When to change IVF clinics
I am at a standpoint with my clinic . I am considering changing providers in this same clinic or change to another clinic. I have gotten pregnant each of my embryo transfers but I feel before each loss we could had done things to prevent it. My last pregnancy ended at 10 weeks ( 07/2022) , normal female

Bad acne on ivf drugs after BFP
Hi Ladies I’m just wondering if any of you had bad acne on progesterone and steroids after your BFP. It’s worse than when I was a teenager, any advise or recommendations to calm it down would be greatly appreciated 💫

Fertility Update (sensitive)
Hi everyone, I just wanted to share my ongoing fertility struggles over the last 3 years since I gave birth to my miracle daughter conceived via IVF due to unexplained fertility. Despite failing to ever fall pregnant naturally, 1.5 years after the birth of my daughter I fell pregnant naturally. Unfortunately

Third trimester dragging
I think it’s just me being really impatient to meet my long awaited baby, but did anyone else find the third trimester dragged along? I’m 33 weeks so still a little way to go, and all I can think about is preparing for their arrival and finally getting to say hello. Really struggling to stay engaged

Small follicles on scan
Hi all lovely ladies, I need advice. I went in for a scan on cd10 and they found 3 small follicles. Lining was at 6.9mm. Uterus and everything else look good. I'm just worried about small follicles sizing from 4.6mm,2.4mm and 2.6mm.What can I do to increase the size? I'm taking oestrogen and progesterone
