Thyroid levels and miscarriage
hi all, looking for some advice. I’ve had hypothyroidism since 2013. I was hoping to commence an IVF cycle in March (my 3rd round for baby no. 2) I miscarried in October( not sure if this was linked to my thyroid, TSH was 1.53 before I started treatment. I was on steroids and other drugs so not sure

Egg Donor IVF UK
Hi everyone, I'm looking for some advice on egg donation in the UK. we've been trying to conceive for 5 years, 2 failed rounds of ivf and 6 rounds of clomid. I don't have a choice on clinic, as it's NHS funded. But the clinic haven't been forthcoming with info yet. I am so impatient! do you have to

5 weeks - heavy bleeding (potentially sensitive)
Hi All, I’ve been through a whirlwind over the last few days. BFP since 7dp5dt and with tests getting stronger every 48hrs up to 13dp5dt. Then on 14dp5dt I started to see dark brown and watery blood in the morning. By the evening, it was full on heavy, red blood with huge clots and pain. Eventually

London clinics for over 40’s
I hope this is allowed. I’m 41 & been declined NHS rounds. I want to collect a few rounds of embryos asap now & batch-freeze (sounds like cooking doesn’t it). I’m not a wealthy woman but we also really want this so if it is ok to share & people are happy to, I’d love to know people’s experiences with

Late period after egg retrieval
hi everyone. It’s been a while since I posted.. hope everyone ok. I always use to get my period on day 28/29. October/November 2022 we started our IVF journey and December we had a failed fresh embryo transfer. My last two period have been on days 34 and 31 and now I’m on day 32 and no sign of period

Supplement, what’s good?
So after my rant yesterday I’m back in business lol! I’m wondering what supplements/quantities people take 3 months lead up to IVF fresh round? I’m trying to improve egg quality and wondering what people recommend or what your consultants have suggested for you to take. Advice much appreciated

Here we go again, cycle number 4....
After a failed FET last month with my 1 and only ever frozen embryo, time to start my 4th cycle of ivf , started the injections last night... In all honesty, I've lost all hope, im going into this with a negative attitude which i know is not the best thing to do, but after 5 failed transfers in 8 months

The Book ‘It All Starts With The Egg’
Hello to you lovely group! I am currently reading It Starts With The Egg book after it being recommended by a few people here. I wanted to ask a few questions: 1. did you end up taking all or some of the supplements and get much changed results? 2. Which supplements did you take/buy and for how long

I thought I was 6 weeks today looking at the ivf due date calculators online. I had a bleed this afternoon and went for a reassurance scan (clinic couldn’t get me in) they put me at 5 weeks and could see the sac and yolk sac (and 2x haematoma - I had this with my youngest daughter which is probably the

IVF when on NDT/Armour
Hi all, I'm considering starting another IVF cycle but i'm now on NDT/Armour Thyroid. I've got Hashimoto's. My TSH needs to be 0.38-2.5 for me to start treatment, but my last bloods showed my TSH as under 0.38 because of the T3 i'm on. I'm going to ask my thyroid doc to write a letter to my clinic

TSH of 2.90 - is this ok for IVF?
Hello all 💛 We are due to start IVF with DE next month but my TSH result has come back at 2.90. I know that most clinics like it to be below 2.50. Our clinic has said they are happy with the result and happy to continue with treatment but I just want to ask - has anyone had successful IVF with a TSH

egg collection
** only 1 fertilised 🥺 Had our egg collection this morning - wasn’t as scary as I thought! We managed 6 eggs - seems a bit low considering my age (I’m 35), AMH and the fact I had 14 follicles. Really hoping they’re mature and fertilise…we were also booked for ICSI but they said only IVF is needed 🤷
