follow up appointments in Rfc Belfast?
hi – I am waiting a review appointment after failed IVF in November. I was told 12 weeks then 12 to 14 weeks then promised that I would have a review by the 12 week point and phoned up today because that’s only a couple of weeks away and they have nothing scheduled and say that they are running behind

can you drain an endometrioma without surgery?
Does anyone know if it is possible to drain an endometrioma without surgery? I am thinking because I had IVF recently and during egg collection, they used an internal ultrasound and a fine needle to aspirate the follicles… Surely if one of my follicles has turned into an endometrioma, they could drain

mock cycles
I am soon to be 44 and after failed ivf with my own eggs, I’m doing ivf with donor eggs in Spain. i have just started my mock cycle before we do the real thing with donor eggs next month. I’d be grateful to hear your experiences of mock cycles - what does good and bad outcomes look like from this.

NHS services while going private
Hi all - not sure if my question will make sense but I'll try - 3 years ago I was 39 and going through infertility investigations via NHS. After a round of blood tests and ultrasound they were quick to give me the diagnosis of "unexplained subfertility" and recommend IVF: self-funded, because I was told

The feeling
Firstly, I want to say how incredibly blessed and grateful I am for having our first double rainbow ivf baby, who is sleeping next to me. Ever since he was born we want a sibling for him. We planned it, everything is ready and now is the time to call the clinic and start the FET cycle. We have one euploid

Blood tests results after miscarriage - high level of vitamin B12 and low APPT
Hi All, I had blood tests done after miscarriage in December and all seems to be ok apart from high level vitamin B12 - 1416 (range 211-911) and low APPT - 27.3 (range 28-34). I don’t have a consultation to discuss this until 1st February and got the results only because clinic has provided scans of

Experiences of ohss after a large egg retrieval?
Hi all, I have my egg collection booked for Monday morning. When I went for a scan yesterday, there are currently 52 follicles 😩🤯 I have pcos and a high amh. I was just wondering if anyone has had such high numbers retrieved, and if you got ohss as a result? This is my 7th ivf cycle, my 5th fresh

Home or Abroad? So many difficult decisions to make when starting IVF.
Struggling with how many decisions we need to make in preparing for IVF with what seems risks involved with every option. We’ve currently got dates booked in to start a cycle with GCRM Glasgow and while they haven’t done anything that concerns us, it also doesn’t feel very personal with just a standard

Improving Egg Quality - Advice Please?
Hi all, I’ve just found and joined this group - and have already read through loads of helpful posts! 🙏🏼 It’s so great to know I’m not alone on this fertility rollercoaster! I’m 41 and met my amazing partner later than I would have liked. We’ve been TTC for three years and started IVF last Nov. We

managing positivity
I’ve been stewing over this for a while and wanted to get the views of others and (in all honesty) let off a bit of steam. Like most of us on here I’ve had a rough old time on my infertility journey - ectopic pregnancy, emergency surgery, 3 years of unexplained infertility and 6 failed transfers. Hope
