Baby aspirin
Hi. I’m currently 10 weeks pregnant via IVF and after my first blood test via midwife, I’ve had a call from my Drs and been asked to take 75mg x2 aspirin from week 12 as the midwife has requested it? Does anyone know why this would be? Or anyone took similar? I’ve heard of 1 x 75mg a day but not

On 75micrgrms levo but TSH score gone from a normal fluctuating from 2-3 to 8.57 suddenly
Hypothyroid and on levothyroxine 75micrograms Hashimoto's Antibodies 263 TSH 8.57 T3 4.3 T4 15.4 I recently read about the timings of blood draws before 9am and not taking meds, food before the draw and no supplements 3 days before. So I ran a test. I had GP bloods done on the 15th august and

repeat surgery?
hello! Just wondering if anyone has had repeat surgery to treat their endo? I had my first one in 2021 and then started IVF so pregnancy stopped my periods and I was pain free for 9 months. Recently the pain is creeping back in and I’m not sure if another laparoscopy could be on the cards? I’m not sure

Short protocol - IVF
Hi All, hope everyone is ok.. I’ve just had my consultation to start my Second IVF cycle. I was looking to have further testings after having 3 failed embryo transfers of ‘good’ grades (not PGTa tested) from my previous cycle. However, my consultant advised to go with the endo scratch only. She

How did you decide if/when to try for another baby?
Hi lovely ladies, I hope you are all well. Just wondering how you can to a decision if/when to try for another baby following a successful cycle of IVF? I’m absolutely in love with my silly, strong willed baby girl who is now 9 months (pic below!) and like the idea of a bigger family. Simultaneously

Laparoscopy - is it needed? Experiences?
Hello I have been having ovulation induction treatment and am planning to start IVF soon. On a recent scan, a 5mm submucosal fibroid showed up and I was very lucky that my private health cover entitled me to an appointment and should cover the costs of surgery. I have had one chemical pregnancy but

Buying IVF meds - advice please
Hi everyone, I’m getting prepared to start my treatment in Copenhagen. I have a prescription (can’t believe this is finally happening!) and am looking for any advice on buying meds either online or in person, where is reliable? Best costs wise etc. Thank you ❤️

2nd frozen embryo transfer at 41yrs, endometriosis, under active thyroid, success stories needed!
Hi all, We’re about to have our 2nd FET at the beginning of September, I’ve had the Prostap injection and my first scan is tomorrow which afterwards I’ll start the estrogen tablets and then the progesterone pessaries. I had Endometriosis quite a few years ago and my pelvis was ‘frozen’ where all of

European Clinic for Egg Donor
Hi Everyone, I am going to Quiron in Barcelona with my partner on Thursday and then we go back once they have a suitable egg donor. Im a little nervous, it's my first time having treatment abroad after 4 failed rounds of IVF in the UK with my own eggs. Does anyone have any experiences they can share

IVF fairy
hi warriors, I know not everyone is like this, but I haven’t told any of my friends about our ivf journey as they all have children and I just think no one truly knows what we go through in this process, unless they’ve walked this path too. I recently listened to an old episode of Emma Barnett on the

OIs anyone else in the same boat with trying for a sibling and it just not happening?
Hi everyone. I write this less than a week after our last round of IVF resulted in a BFN and I guess I'm looking for a bit of moral support. This was our 5th embryo after my daughter (who is almost 3 and the result of a fresh transfer when I was 34) that has not worked and I'm losing hope, positivity

Huge polyp found - any success stories after polypectomy?
Hi everyone, Hope you are all doing okay. Please can I ask whether anyone has experienced a large polyp and polypectomy with positive outcomes? After four failed transfers and some mid cycle spotting, my fertility consultant recommended a hysteroscopy. He said he didn't expect to find anything as all

Laparoscopy risks to ectopic pregnancy
Hi everyone, I'm on the waiting list for laparoscopy due to suspected tubal blockage. Has anyone had a laparoscopy while going through IVF ? Several sources say that laparoscopy can increase the chance of ectopic pregnancy for IVF patients - at the same time it's also said that a fallopian tube blocked

Blighted Ovum?
Hi Everyone, I hope you all are doing as best as you can. I tend not to post too often here, though I'm around alot. I've been very lucky in my IVF journey and I'm conscious of that.So I had my last embryo transferred end July. Shocked to find it worked. I'm nearly 43, embryo was frozen when I was 40

feeling so alone in this journey and need support
I don’t really like to share my IVF story not even in this forum because I find when I open up to explain what I have been through I can’t cope with all the pain but today I am feeling so very alone and weary and just need some support. Went to the clinic today for my scan hoping to start our 9th attempt

T3 / NDT
Hi - I'm 39 and have had hashimotos / under active thyroid for 10+ years. I have suffered from 3 miscarriages recently + had 2 poor quality / outcome IVF egg retrievals. I'm on 100mg of levothyroxine, TSH is in range (around 2) but T3 is really at the bottom of the range. I don't think I'm converting

How many cycles counts as a lot?
I've had 3 egg freezing cycles this year - 1st one around May, second in June and coming up to third end of this month. I am doing it single, which has definitely intensified feelings of loneliness/failure - that at 37 while most of my friends are having/trying for babies, I am egg freezing and living
