Struggling with the idea of not being able to conceive naturally…
… anyone else struggle to give up the hope of a natural conception? We’ve been trying for 2 1/2years and about to start IVF, I’m grateful to be able to try IVF, daunted that it won’t work and sad that we couldn’t conceive naturally… I always thought that I would be able to have a baby and to conceive

Progesterone
Hi ladies. I'm 13 weeks pregnant, IVF was a success after the second attempt. I've got a bit of a problem with progesterone pessaries. I've been told by the IVF consultant to stop at 12 weeks but then I didn't know how. Every other day or cold turkey? But I have since been moved over to a midwife who

How many times before you call it quits? (Maybe sensitive for some)
Hello! I have joined your community in October of 2022 after a painful miscarriage of my naturally conceived baby. I never wrote anything, but reading your stories always gave me strength and hope. After the loss we decided to seek medical help and tried IVF. I am immensely grateful that our first try

looking for post surgery pregnancy positivity!
hello endo ladies. I just found out I am 4 week plus 4 days pregnancy after my laparoscopy 8 weeks ago. I had right tube removed, several masses from my right ovary and my left ovary “unstuck” from back of my uterus. Also had work done on bowel, rectum and pouch. Stage 4 basically. I’m in an absolute

Should we do a DNA fragmentation and semen microbiome test if above average normal sperm parameters?
Has anyone found DNA fragment station and/or semen mictobiome trstingbto flag anything when semen analysis was ok? My husband last had a semen analysis at the end of 2022, the results were reported as outstanding and above average, as was so when we had a test done in 2019 prior to starting IVF. My

Ibuprofen for ET and post ET?
Hi lovely community, I’ve read on here that some IVF protocols includes ibuprofen on the day of ET and then 3-4 days after ET. That’s interesting because I thought ibuprofen was not allowed in IVF. What is the purpose of ibuprofen, please? Asking because as an endo sufferer, I suffer from high inflammation

Did anyone have bilateral salpingectomy before IVF?
both my tubes have hydrosalpinx (the left more severe than the right) and my doctor recommended taking both tubes out before starting ivf. Wanted to see if there are any other women going through the same with bilateral hydrosalpinx

Emotional support to keep going
Hi all, I have just had a chemical pregnancy on my 2nd IVF transfer, which makes it my 4th miscarriage in 1.5 years. How do you all keep the strength to keep going? I am looking for any tips. The medication, the waiting, the taking time off work, the worrying, the sleepless nights, the MONEY... I don't

Can IVF cause endometriosis?
Hope everyone is keeping well! In my last frozen IVF transfer (my second transfer in total), the consultant found an endometrioma cyst on one of my ovaries. When one of these is found, I believe you’re automatically classified as having stage 3/4 endometriosis. But what I’m trying to acertain, is whether

Goodbye and wishing you all the best!! Might be sensitive, protect yourself if you need to!
Hi you lovely people on this forum! I wasn’t going to make any more posts, just been behind the scenes - getting so happy for the successes on here! It really is magical! And if you are still trying… I really do hope your dreams do come true! IVF is brutal! And I wish it was successful for everyone,

Healthy eating vs BMI
I've recently started IVF and was advised I have quite low AMH. Because of this I have tried to eat healthy to improve my egg quality. The downside to this is I have been losing weight which has brought me below the recommended BMI for IVF and I was almost refused treatment. Now I'm not sure what is
