Anyone been denied another transplant who is healthy and compliant? I have had 2 transplants..my second is at 18 years and being evaluated for a third..I had the green light..then 2 weeks later they asked for an appt with a Dr and said if that went well they'd go forward...after that appt went perfectly

Chronic Constipation
I have been on PD since Jan 2016. Recently, my issues with constipation have gotten to a very frustrating level. I have tried: Prunes; more fruits/veggies; OTC softeners; laxatives; yogurt; probiotics; exercise.....and it is to a chronic stage. If I take prescription Linzess or Trulance provided

Vaginal Dryness & Bacterial Vaginosis
Does anyone deal with vaginal dryness or constant bacterial vaginosis? Ever since being on dialysis this has been an issue for me and no one has been of any help to me. I am a young woman in a relationship and these issues are a big insecurity for me. Any advice or help from anyone!? ** Lubricants/moisturizers

Graft for Dialysis
I'm getting ready for dialysis. My vascular surgeon told me that my veins are too small for AV Fistula. He recommended that, although difficult to predict, I should wait until I'm ready to start dialysis and just about one month prior to that I should have a Graft put in, ready to be used for dialysis

Exercise on PD
I'm new here & new to PD dialysis. I was diagnosed with a rare kidney disease when an infant. I am now 76 years old and count myself blessed to have avoided dialysis til now. My egfr went to 7 and , for the first time, I was really fatigued. My current question is how to regain my fitness. My PD nurse

Kidney biopsy doesn’t show signs of disease
Finally got the results of my kidney biopsy. Doctor called me this morning and told me there is no sign of disease on my biopsy. What the heck does that mean? Let me refresh you guys. Diagnosed CKD stage 3. 44/F. Ultrasound in Jan showed no signs of disease. July 2020 was my very first GFR score. July

Kidney Transplant Waitlist
I met one patient at dialysis clinic couple years ago. I saw him did quick treatment just couple months then disappear. I asked tech where was he. Tech said that guy got the kidneys. He was judge in downtown. He had premium health ins. That was lied that you have to wait 7 to 10 years on waiting list

Now lost the job, no EDD. I can't pay treatment bills any more.
I was developed kidneys failure before 2002(first diagnosed was stage 2). Kidneys are like household water filter. When they were expired. They are unrepairable. Kidneys slowly decline from stage 2 to stage 5(final). I started dialysis since 2015. I have been working in electronic field. Then I developed

Kidney Disease Solution
For us CKD is a family affair. Out of nine children, five of us have this disease. Of those five one has had a kidney transplant and one is on dialysis. I am currently at stage 3 and I’m trying really hard to halt the progression and avoid being hooked onto a machine. To that end I bought a detailed

Moved around
My husband has a new dialysis manager that’s very young and hasn’t been a manager for long. She has the center in an uproar by moving people around daily each treatment and changing the doctor’s prescription of medications on the machine. It’s so frustrating to hear my husband talk about it and I feel

Prepare for dialysis.
Hi all, my egfr dropped from 17 last September to 14 and I have been told to prepare for dialysis. Is it too late to improve on this figure? And what can I expect from dialysis. Will my energy levels improve? Any comments or suggestions will be appreciated.
