Heart is trying to kill me
On Boxing day in 2012, I woke up having a heart attack. The family took me to the hospital and the next morning I went to another hospital and had a stent put in. Not one to sit around, we went to Mexico 6 days later for a week, came home and I went back to work on Monday. No one actually told me

GOOD NEWS . Just been told by cardiologist that I no longer Heart Problems , Angina after my heart attack and stroke in 2009 .
Who could have guessed that angina , heart spasms, were curable. just been given full bill of health by cardiologist and no longer have these problems but still have to take the medication. Can't work that one out. Anyone any ideas. you don't have a problem but you still have to take the medication

Shocks at termination of AF attack.
Before I had my pacemaker fitted, at the end of an AF attack I would get a strong electrical shock which I came to dread. I've had AF for over ten years or more but it was only over the last year that this occurred. Has anyone else experienced this. Now I have the pacemaker I don't notice my heart

Compulsive Behaviour or Two Loves?
I was diagnosed 5 years ago. I was initially put on a low dosage of Sinemet 25/100 with 6 monthly visits to my Nuero Dr. As my condition worsened very quickly (or so it seemed to me) After trying the patches (Had a skin reaction) I was soon on the maximum dosage of Ropinerole (Requip XL) 3x 8mg per day

Quick question
When working out my stroke risk the Dr asked if I had angina or get any pains in back of legs.....as far as I know I don't have angina, however I have experienced what I can only describe as a pulled or tight muscle feeling in back of my calves last few days, not sure if to ring and ask about it.....

Do you have a child aged between 6 and 16 with asthma?
Asthma affects 1 million children in the UK. One-in-eight children with asthma have at least one asthma attack every year and 25,000 of those will be admitted to hospital. We all produce a gas called nitric oxide in our breath but people with asthma produce more than those who don’t have this condition

Dyskinesia
Hi everybody ...I am now aged 70, diagnosed at 59. For the last 4 years I've taken Stalevo 125 at 0700,1000,1300,1600 and 1900. Also take Requip XL - 6mg with the 0700 dose and 4mg with the 1900 dose. I'm pretty active, walk 30 mins on treadmill ok. But I get constant dyskinesia - writhing of the head

Angina after a Bypass?
Hi, I had a quadruple bypass back in October 2014, after the op I was really ill and had SVT which required 3 electric shocks. Anyhow to cut to the chase. I was on Amiordarone 200mg for a fast heartbeat, this was stopped in December 2014, a few weeks after this I started getting the odd chest pain,

Chest discomfort
I would be interested in views on what constitutes worrying chest discomfort. I have PAF not in it now and on aspirin and 2.5 mg bisophorol. I had a CT angiogram last year which was completely clear. I get a lot of intestinal gurgling so maybe this is a factor. I get some chest discomfort like heart
