Any advise for endo appointment?
I have been on my hypo journey for over 10 years now (previously Graves) and since I had T3 added to my treatment 4 years ago, I had pretty much normal life since then. However, last winter I developed severe vit D deficiency and despite being put on supplements, I haven’t got back feeling normal. I

What tests should I ask for?
Going to be going back to retest (after waiting to see if my T3 levels would magically jump up to where they need to be without changing any medication), and I'm mulling what tests to ask for. Of course, TSH, T3, and T4. I have never been tested for antibodies, but if those come out positive, what

Lethargic but all normal results
Hi everyone, newbie here. Been reading a lot of other posts, learned enough to know that normal ranges aren't the same as optimal, and that a number of important markers that were not included in my test. I'm hoping I could get some advice as to my readings, and whether or not I should pursue further

Sudden Swelling of Legs and Feet
Has anyone else experienced sudden swelling of their feet and legs? All of a sudden out of the blue it started happening. Was referred to a cardiologist and had an echo cardiogram where everything came out as expected. I initially declined any meds after a bad experience with a neurologist who was prescribing

Greetings everyone! I am a new member. You recently assisted me regarding my beloved mother in my post about Congestive Heart Failure (thanks so much). I take care of her and my 91 year old father (they are married 69.5 years!). I have them in their own home being together! I would appreciate your interpretation

Hi all. An update from me...after 15yrs I’d struggling with sever endo and IC the decision was made for a total hysterectomy. Cervix, uterus, both tubes and both ovaries all being removed. My surgery is next Wednesday and I’m starting to really panic. I’ve just had my pre-op appointment with my consultant

Finally an improvement.
It is now over 8 years since I had a total Gastrectomy and finally I'm enjoying my food with no ill effects. Gone is the dumping syndrome, reflux etc. Now I'm concentrating on regaining lost weight. My early morning breakfast consists of a half can of baked beans washed down with a cup of coffee. I'm

IRON INFUSION
Hello, Am due to have an iron infusion next Thursday. I would be interested to hear from people who have had/are having iron infusions, whether it has made a difference to their level of energy or other. I understand it will take quite a while to notice any improvement if it works, so how long did it

Rivaroxaban or Warfarin?
What are the pros and cons of Warfarin against Xarelto (rivaroxaban)? I’ve been on Xarelto for 3 years and I’ve had skin issues constantly and dizziness which I think are side effects of it? Also, the issue of no antidote to reverse the affects of the drug is always a worry in the back of my head..

Bladder irritation and pain with estrogen cream
Has anyone ever had irritation after using vaginal estrogen cream??? I had a total hysterectomy and have no ovaries. Just found out my estrogen level is a 40. It was a 70 a few months ago and now it's plummeted. I use the estrogen patch but have also been told to use the cream. It's a bioidentical cream
