Thin lining medicated FET
I had my base scan on Thursday on CD11 and my lining is only 7.2mm. I’m a little worried as this is the first medicated FET with 6mg estrogen daily (Elleste Solo 2mg, an HRT drug). Previously I had 2 natural cycle FET and my lining was much thicker 9mm. Since Thursday they have up my dose to 8mg estrogen

Latest Update to Here We Go Again
Underwent the "simple mastectomy" on Nov 1 on the right side. This is my third breast cancer surgery and sixth primary cancer overall. I was so discouraged to have cancer again and did not want the surgery, but it was the only rational option. Already have had so much radiation to the chest (lung cancer

Loosing the will to live
I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's Disease in 1996. Luckily my GP screened for the antibodies as my T4 was borderline; purely because his daughter had been diagnosed with it. At the time I was passing out all the time, I had developed psoriasis, I had brain fog, depression and a host of other symptoms

Pessary in pessary out this morning and not a great experience
Hi, I don't want to give too much detail and put people off who might find it a useful option but I had to have the pessary removed within two hours. I have a stage two uterine prolapse but my GP said she didn't think I could reverse it with exercises as there is 'significant descent'. I've been

Endometriosis and tooth problems
Hello, I was diagnosed with endo in 2012 and I've had 4 laposcopys, a mirena coil fitted and removal of my left tube and ovary. Since then I've been put on 3 rounds of decapeptyl injections each month, (9 months on and 6 months off) over 4 years and I was only given HRT for my last round of the injections

I take Ritary, Azilect and carb/lev and had heart valve replacement surgery at the end of August. Lots of side effects including hallucinations. Haven’t found much history on this but hear it common with PWP’s.. Mogul 1

Total Abdominal (Bikini cut) Hysterectomy next week..yikes!
Hi all I’m hoping someone on here is able to give me some reassurance, I’m wondering if anyone has any positive experiences of having a total hysterectomy? I keep reading about the extremely difficult recovery (which I do expect) but I’m starting to get really anxious about the whole procedure.. I

Post 2 - my own bloods - advice please :)
Hi everyone Posted about my dads bloods for feedback but also curious about my own results. I had my levels tested through GP a few weeks ago and they were looking good (tsh around 1, t4 I think around 17). I was therefore surprised to see the following when I got my tests done privately through medichecks

HRT - decreases B12 levels?
Hi all I posted about abdominal pain/problems in December- got a whole lot of helpful replies. GP sent me for blood tests and scan - all clear thankfully. Seems to have settled now - not sure what caused it or why ok now. Thanks for the advice given. Anyway, my new query - I just haven’t been well

I'm on Evorel Conti and learnt today from a friend that DHEA may benefit me.

Heart Valve Replacement - severe dizziness and breathing difficulties 1 year+ post op
Hi! My dad had his 3rd open heart surgery last July (2021) and he's been poorly ever since. He had a heart infection which went undiagnosed for months (despite lots of GP phonecalls) resulting in an emergency valve replacement (he was born with a hole in the heart and was due another soon anyway but

Help needed interpreting advanced thyroid blood test 🙏
Hi, I’m new here and looking for help interpreting recent blood tests. At the bottom of this rather lengthy post are the results of tests I just had done via the testing company Monitor My Health. I paid for the advanced thyroid panel of testing and it’s the first time I’ve had FT4 & antibodies tested
