Wound Care
Hi.. it's almost 2 weeks since my CABG was done and I'm still getting some oozing from the bottom of my wound. Is this normal? Should I be concerned it's still not dried up? I wouldn't say it's hor or sore particularly but of course I'm not a doctor.

CABG x 2 done
I'm home! Having spent almost 3 weeks in hospitals over the last month I'm pleased to be home. The CABG was done on the 11th July in the end and they did x2 bypasses. The surgeon used both mammary arteries so I have got any healing in the leg and arms. It wasn't all plain sailing post operation though

New here, advice please
New here, this is my first post, I was told 2 years ago that I have thyroid antibodies, I've had my blood tested roughly every 6 months, but no one has gone into this in any more detail. I've just accepted that blood tests were ok & not really thought too much about it. However, I've been feeling pretty

Thyroid Antibodies.
Hi Does anyone have any information regarding the levels and ranges for thyroid antibodies, and how the levels are interpretated. We all know how Doctors stick rigidly to the TSH range so can we also think they stick to the antibody ranges when diagnosing hashi's. Both mine are near to top of the range

Another cancelled CABG operation
Second NHS cancelation for me. Attended hospital, waited 4 hours in ward dayroom, no bed. Next day back at 0730 hours, waited 7 hours in same dayroom. Next to no contact from hospital staff, until a matron broke the bad news. No ICU bed available, previous operation took longer plus an emergency needed

Looking for help and guidance on starting T3 only
Hi, I am looking for some help and guidance from you lovely people, having now run out of enough money to be able to buy meds/supps AND consult my private doctor (PD). You have been so helpful in the past :-) In March I saw a PD, he ran tests and diagnosed hypothyroidism (due to converting T4 to T3)

Hypothyroidism or secondary hypothyroidism or CFS/ME?!
Hello everyone, I often browse this forum but have never posted labs before. I have a diagnosis of CFS/ME and have done since 2007. Done lots of digging of my own to get to the bottom of this diagnosis and I've concluded that the cause of it, is thyroid and adrenal problems. I'm going to post my lab

Wrist arthritis
Hi. I am new to this community but wonder if anyone can give me advice on the best way to treat pain in my wrist caused by arthritis. I had a giant cell tumor removed from my wrist twice (12 and 10 years ago) and due to the location and size of that, and resulting bone graft, I have marked arthritis

WRIST POST-OP
Good morning all, a little update on my surgery. I am now 3 weeks post-op after having half my wrist replaced, tendon repair and small bone graft. I have had the cast changed to a lighter on which will be on for another 4 weeks and then in a splint. It's going to be a long job but hopefully will be

Altering FT3 level.
Hi I posted three weeks ago to say my FT3 had decreased even though I had not altered my thyroid meds. I take 1.5 grains W.P. Thyroid, one grain am. and half grain early evening. I had been feeling unwell with what felt like a virus and a member thought I may have had a hashi's attack as my TPA
