ROPINIROLE IS THE DEVIL FOR SURE!
First developed RLS years ago, but didn’t even know it was a condition. I thought I was simply going off my head, until a nurse in hospital noticed the uncontrollable violent thrashing id do with my right leg (initially). She told me to go to GP when I was discharged and tell him about this unbearable

Medication help!
I have just changed over from armour NDT to
tirosint
and compounded t3. My t3 is in capsules so I can not split this dose twice in a day. I ended up having to take both before bed 2 hours after food. I am better taking my meds at bedtime due to side effects etc.

Parkinson's Disease Medication Alters Small Intestinal Motility and Microbiota Composition in Healthy Rats!! Hmmm... how can we benefit?
Hello... I hope you are not suffering too much from the heat or from airconditionitis. I have been following this research group from the Netherlands since their Nature paper on bacterial tyrosine decarboxylase. Although their work is actually really interesting, and every time I read their paper it's

Finding some negatives on Berberine (I will keep digging)
EDIT March 17, 2024:
Today somebody shared a link to a two year old post of mine about a report on Berberine being neurotoxic and taking it off of my stack. Within a few months I found other information on Berberine and, using my High School educated brain, decided that Berberine definitely needed

BCAAs - Tyrosine, phenylalanine - protein powders
Anyone have a grasp on the biochemistry of BCAAs in protein powders as they relate to PCa progression? I've read PCa feeds off of phenylalanine so wise to avoid the aspartame artificial sweetner. Tyrosine sounds closely related? Or is moderate intake of protein powders not that different than moderate

Bloods help please
I am unsure whether to add in 25mg of levo (
tirosint
) or what really. I have tried 1 1/4 grains of NDT but I feel hyper from t3 over range and causes such rapid heart rate for me (I do already have pots so very sensitive to t3). Here’s my results (no biotin and meds taken 12 hours prior).

T4 dosing every other day?
I have just purchased
tirosint
t4 50mg caps. I have many and now need to reduce t4 down to 25 a day but can’t split them as they are oil caps. So can I just take 1 50mg cap every other day and it would work the same?

Help with results!
I am not sure whether to add in 12.5 mg of levo (
tirosint
) to see if that helps. I think I am aware a t3 drug increase is not an option

Mitochondrial uncoupling ; can this help PD, appears maybe
“Apoptosis induced by MPP+ was ameliorated by NTZ in a dose-dependent manner. In vivo results demonstrated that oral administration of NTZ (50 mg/kg) in an acute MPTP mouse model of PD conferred significant protection against the loss of tyrosine hydroxylase (TH)-positive neurons of substantia nigra.
