Hi, I have Graves and also a multinodular goitre. I took carbimazole for over a year, then my consultant stopped this to see if I was 'cured'. However the hyperthyroidism returned after 6 months so I was again put on carbimazole. My consultant wanted me to have radioactive iodine treatment, but I didn't want this , so I was discharged to my GP. I take low dose carbimazole with blood tests every 3 months; however the test is only for TSH, so I don't know my F3 or F4 levels. My last TSH was 0.466 mcIu/ml. is it OK to just measure TSH levels?

Low vitamins are very common with Graves
For full Thyroid evaluation you need TSH, FT4, FT3 plus TPO and TG thyroid antibodies to test for Hashimoto's and also very important to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12
Private tests are available. Thousands on here forced to do this as NHS often refuses to test FT3 or antibodies or vitamins

Medichecks Thyroid plus ultra vitamin or Blue Horizon Thyroid plus eleven are the most popular choice. DIY finger prick test or option to pay extra for private blood draw. Both companies often have money off offers.
Have you considered trying strictly gluten free diet?
Ideally ask GP for coeliac blood test first
