How is PA diagnosed?
I have recently discovered I have Hashimotos
thyroiditis
. I'm having full blood count and iron panel in 2 weeks to look for PA, among other things, but I can't find anything really about how it's diagnosed in terms of blood tests and ranges. Is it based solely on B12 results?

Rejected by Endo!
Due to my recent operation, issues with my
thyroiditis
and anaesthetic I asked my GP for an Endo referral as my GP’s have said they have no issue giving me T3 but need a specialist to recommend this.

Advice after first post stimulation scan - response and thyroid
Also, I have had issues with my thyroid for over a year and was diagnosed with silent autoimmune
thyroiditis
earlier this year. I haven’t been on Thyroxine since last year as the endocrinologist recommended I stay off it as my body was correcting my thyroid itself.

First time posting here...can anyone here discuss getting a diagnosis?
Hi, I already have hashimotos
thyroiditis
, but am seeking to find out whether I also have perncious anemia. The reason I am investigating this is because I have many of the symptoms and I also have a raised MCH (for at least the last 4 years). My B12 level is usually around 200 which is pretty low.

Me again! I need help before GP calls
My thyroid has bend painful again, and GP was worrying I might be going back to hyper (where it started with
thyroiditis
in Feb). Concerned he’ll take me off thyroxine (he put me on as a trial 2.5 months ago - still at 50mcg).

Palpitations after eating
I have been though a course of
thyroiditis
in the past year, with both symptoms of hyper and hypo. Lately I have been fairly fine (fine being that I can manage through the day). But I now experience something new.

The cause
I have Autoimmune
Thyroiditis
, I feel the list below may have contributed to this disease. 1/ Having my tonsils removed. 2/ Having 2 head Xrays in a week, (by accident) 3/ Vaping ( been stopped for over a year now) 4/ Sucking on nicotine lozenges at work. ( stopped doing this ) when I couldn't vape

Ultrasound report - help!
Thyroid gland has heterogenous echogenicity consistent with Hashimoto's
thyroiditis
2. There are multiple thyroid nodules, the largest measuring 0.7cm on the right. These are of low concern and may be monitored. Sounds like not much to be alarmed about right?

PCOS and Hashimoto
been diagnosed by an endocrinologist with Hashimoto syndrome now in euthyroidism borderline, and Hyperandrogenism, (but he didn't explain to me what does it mean) He prescribed a birth control pill to lessen the androgens and other hormones to regulate the thyroid which has probably been affected by

Thyroid stimulating hormone β-subunit splice variant modulation during bacterial infection
Most studies have linked TSHβv expression to myeloid cells of the immune system; however, it has recently been demonstrated that plasma cells in patients with Hashimoto's
thyroiditis
may be a source of immune system TSHβv.

Update - Meds increased.
' Interpretation of Hashimoto's
thyroiditis
values If the fT3 and fT4 values are below 30%, there is usually an underfunction and the thyroxine dose should be increased.

Latest blood results - now overmedicated?
They also don't explicitly mention Hashimoto's / Auto Immune
Thyroiditis
but I think the TPO antibodies confirm that as a diagnosis?

Sweet Syndrome and Hashimoto Thyroiditis: A Case Report and Review of the Literature.
This is a rare case of a 57-year-old man who developed Sweet's syndrome (SS) secondary to Hashimoto
thyroiditis
(HT). He was initially misdiagnosed with cellulitis (a bacterial skin infection). HT is an autoimmune condition that causes an underactive thyroid.

Anybody with postpartum thyroiditis who has come off Levo?
Has anyone had postpartum
thyroiditis
and recovered (reduced/come off Levothyroxine)? Interested to hear other stories. Currently reducing but starting to feel really rubbish. Gone from 125mcg to 25mcg.

My thyroid shrunk with 125 mcg of Syntroid
My question is whether it is normal for the thyroid to atrophy after taking the medication or if I am already going for a diagnosis of Atrophic
thyroiditis
. The strange thing is that I don't have Hashimoto, my antibodies are always low.
