PCOS and Hashimoto

Hi!

I have PCOS and yesterday I been diagnosed by an endocrinologist with Hashimoto syndrome now in euthyroidism borderline, and Hyperandrogenism, (but he didn't explain to me what does it mean)

He prescribed a birth control pill to lessen the androgens and other hormones to regulate the thyroid which has probably been affected by thyroiditis.

Has anyone had the same two conditions together and was able to reverse them just with a special diet, avoiding to take hormones?
