Results from my Thyroid Ultrasound Scan
She confirmed that I have chronic inflamed
thyroiditis
( which is Hashimotos right? Which I knew) and also I have several lumps in the thyroid tissue which are thyroid nodules. She said that it is nothing to worry about and that I do not need to be referred or have my thyroid out at this stage.

Would it be safe to treat the symptoms with levothyroxin with no GP advice?
He thinks that it make sense that is a
thyroiditis
and that my tsh ware fluctuating so I been having all the symptoms, but he also said that he thinks that is resolving but could become hypo. I should have a blood test but because if shortage of blood tubes is not really possible to do soon.

Where does T4 to T3 conversion take place?
I just finished reading Paul Robinson´s book "The Thyroid Patient´s Manual" and it states on p. 142: " If you have lost thyroid tissue through a thyroidectomy or through Hashimoto´s
thyroiditis
, you will also have lost a substantial amount of T4 to T3 conversion.

a bit concerned
It remains mildly enlarged with diffuse heterogenicity consistent with
thyroiditis
. Within the left lobe there is a 23 mm isoechoic nodule and an 18 mm isoechoic nodule within the left isthmus. There are 2 hypoechoic lymph nodes on the left level IV, neither of which appear to contain a hilum.

Myo-inositol - Random Wondering
I take these together because I saw a study on Hashimoto's
Thyroiditis
(which I have) which took about 80 people with sub-clinical HT and gave them 75 mg of selenium and I think 600 mg of Myo-Inositol and within a few months they were all euthyroid (no HT).

Severe Needle Phobia and blood tests for thyroid levels
In on 125 mcg of Levothyroxine each day, and have
thyroiditis
still after having a hemothyroiectomy 6 month ago, I'm tired all the time even though my last results came back normal, but It takes me months to work up the courage to go, my phobia is that bad I refused pain relief during childbirth because

Feeling low after docs appointment - questioning myself again
He totally dismissed any possibility of autoimmune
thyroiditis
/Hashimoto's. The fact that I feel so very ill (and with practically every hypothyroid symptom and several more), he says, must be down to something else and he will start investigating other possibilities.

Starting Selenium and Myo-Inositol Today
I have Hashimoto's
Thyroiditis
. People with HT have twice the likelihood of developing PK. I have REMSBD, and I have to admit my sore left shoulder is starting to worry me (please let it be mouse arm), and HT causes inflammation and maybe all of these conditions just run together in a spectrum.

Consent forms signed - eek here we go - nerves!
I have autoimmune
thyroiditis
and on medication which the clinic has said they monitor (that's a relief), I have had my stage 3 endometriosis excised and had the all clear from the specialist. My BMI is 33 and decreasing which the clinic are happy with. It just sounds like a lot of issues.

Got urgent Rheum appt but do I have RA?
GP ran blood tests - it’s complicated by me having had acute
thyroiditis
last Feb and since then WBC count high (specifically basophils & platelets). Those still up, waiting for RF result. CRP up a little bit. Doc asked about joint swelling but wasn’t noticing any.

Can I get opinions on thyroid results please?
I have been told by the private endocrinologist that I have got autoimmune
thyroiditis
based on antibodies and a nuclear thyroid scan, but she doesn't think it needs treating until the TSH is above 7.
