Scans and Ultrasounds and Biopsys
Anyone have any idea why he won't do the biopsy (I asked, did not get answer that helps" "that confirms
thyroiditis
", whatever that means because we knew that) ? And any tips on things that I should ask about the ultrasound?

Experience of hypo without any antibodies
Judging by this forum it is difficult for those with Hasimotos
thyroiditis
to overmedicate as FT3 is often low in range when FT4 is high in range. However, this might not be the case for those without autoimmune thyroid disease.

Thyroiditis finally won. Just thankful I have a Doctor that is willing to treat it.
For me, that seems to be the normal cycle of things with
Thyroiditis
the past 40 years - you feel normal, ok, insomnia becomes a little worse, you have energy, then LOTS of energy, blood pressure elevates, agitation begins to sit in, then kind of tired, you're sleeping past the alarm, headaches become

Returning to a Patient-Centered Approach in the Management of Hypothyroidism

Could there be a link with dosage increase ?
I googled ( I know 🙄) to see what it could be linked to 🤔 , so here's the thing firstly I've looked up the scary stuff ( as you do ) but I've also seen something with regards to Thyroid I am underactive with Hashimoto's
Thyroiditis
, but was seeing that this problem can be linked to Hyperthyroidism

What was it like leading up to your diagnosis? Did you feel that you were taken seriously?
Multiple doctors assumed it was my Hashimotos
Thyroiditis
. I tried to advocate for myself, asking for copies of test results etc. One month later I was a diagnosed with FND, I was told to keep my stress low and "you'll be fine". Just hoping to make sense of what's going on. Thanks all.

Is Thyroiditis the same as Hashimotos?
She said it's
Thyroiditis
. However, last week my Dr said she suspects Hashimoto's as my antibodies had doubled in 3 months to over 1,200 but TSH was back under 5 to 4.3. Are
Thyroiditis
and Hashis the same thing?

Struggling with my medication doses.
I was told I have autoimunne
thyroiditis
, and was expecting my doses to only ever increase. Having had this since a teenage I've never fully understood my symptoms, as I can't tell whats thyroid, whats normal adult tiredness and whats work related stress/anxiety.

Hashimotos... what's the difference?
Well, I've just been on the phone with a new Doctor who has just told me that I should have been told 7years ago that I actually have Hashimotos
thyroiditis
. Although I've heard of this, I don't know much about it. Is this better news? Or worse? All I know is that it is an auto immune disease...

Hypothyroid after covid - mystery?!
I came off it 2 wks later as by chance got another gp who said he felt I shd have had 2 TSH levels 6 wks apart to see if
thyroiditis
before starting levo. He said 15mcg wld not normally be taht effective. I then checked bloods a month later which had perfect levels.

Thyroid scan
I was told my thyroid is small for my age it was scanned 10 years ago and all it showed was
thyroiditis
. My report says it appears small with irregular in outline and heterogeneous with numerous ill-defined hypoechoic nodules. It also says it demonstrates reduced vascularity on colour doppler.
