Suppressed TSH on combined therapy
Is there data/medical papers I can give my doctor as to why T3 is suppressed on combination therapy? I have tried looking at the Nice guidelines but they all seem against using combination therapy. Thanks Sue

night shift & Hashimotos
hey everyone I am a nurse suffering with Hashimotos hypothyroidism- I have struggled to keep my TSH stable for past few years now - always fluctuating. I have recently noticed that working nights shifts makes all of my symptoms ten times worst + I feel even more exhausted & I constantly feel nauseous

My vitamins are all in good order (thanks to supplements and advice from this forum). B12 has increased +200 since Feb! The only

Endocrinologist dismissed my results are they right?
Hi, I had an appointment with an endocrinologist that came highly recommended. I went in with my results (see below) and was told I don't have a thyroid problem so don't need any medication. However, he wants to keep monitoring me and asked me to test and send him my results every 3 months. I was told

Thyroid help!
Alright it’s been a while since I posted. I had my baby in July last year and since I’ve not been taking care of myself and forgetting my levothyroxine most mornings after sleepless nights. About 8 weeks ago I switched taking my Levo in the morning to the evening as I had more time while baby was asleep

"TSH of 5.21 does not warrant levo increase"
Just that. According to my GPs I am perfectly fine and my TSH is only barely out of range and doesn't need my medication to be increased 🤔 what even is the point of their stupid range if they're not even going to pay attention to it? Luckily I have a letter from the Endo stating they want my TSH below

Hello, could you share your experiences if you tried stopping thyroid hormone replacement? I was on NDT for years, developed hyperthyroid symptoms +very low TSH (normal ft3 and ft4), had heart arrythmia and high blood pressure, lost a lot of hair. My first results after beginning 5mcg T3. Is my FT4 & FT3 too high now?
Hello again, please could I ask for your thoughts on my new blood test (Blue Horizon Thyroid Bronze). 6 weeks ago I started taking 5mcg T3 once a day (via Roseway Labs) alongside my usual 75mcg Levothyroxine as my FT3 was on the low side. (I’m 67, only been hypothyroid for 18 months) Blood was

If your labs looks like this, would you be happy or increase meds a little? TSH: 2.34 (range 0.40-4.5) Ft4: 1.2 (0.8-1.8 ) Ft3: 3.1 (2.3-4.2)
