Just that. According to my GPs I am perfectly fine and my TSH is only barely out of range and doesn't need my medication to be increased 🤔 what even is the point of their stupid range if they're not even going to pay attention to it?
Luckily I have a letter from the Endo stating they want my TSH below 2, so after much grumbling an increase has been "permitted" 🙄
(TSH 5.21 - range 0.3-4.8, T4 15.3 - range 7.7-20.6).

I've never understood what's the point of having a range if doctors ignore it, mind you some are way too focused on TSH. It just strikes me as inconsistent and hypocritical. Thank goodness you had an Endo with more sense. Thyroid 101 states that a TSH of over 5 on thyroid replacement is much too high.
hi i am lucky enough to have a doctor who is good at checking my bloods if mine goes over 2 he has me back in surgery to sort it out its not always been this way i have had to fight for proper treatment i am on 100mgs a day which is fine for me
