New blood results - Need advice
Was told I possibly had a
thyroid
storm
. My FT3 has never been this high ever. It’s almost over the range. Plus, I didn’t take my pill before. So if I did I’m sure I could have ft4 and ft3 over the range, but tsh is great.

test results
I wondered what people’s thoughts were on my results really as he didn’t really say the severity of it just that he will give me an urgent referral and look out for symptoms of ‘
thyroid
storm
’ I’m a bit shaken up really as I never thought my bad stomach etc would lead to this result Please see below

Anticipated endo appointment 🤦♀️
Saw him for my graves disease, my T4 was 100 and his advice was just go back on anti
thyroid
drugs.. 🤦♀️ I was in hospital in
thyroid
storm
😠. So as you see.. I don't have much faith in either of them. If I can't stomach T4, T3... What would be the alternative???

cartridge also seen on US (looks benign) FNB shows non neoplastic thyroid tissue... Plan is no definitive need to remove midline thyroid tissue.

Endo is recommending radioactive iodine
Because: - longer ATD treatment results in lower relapse rate - if my flare is cause by stress (likely, as am shielding) then I can address that - Graves' waxes and wanes and may resolve itself as it did last time - risk of
thyroid
eye disease worsening with RAI - risk of
thyroid
storm
with RAI

How to split thyroid erfa in two doses?
Good morning, I have been taking thyroid erfa for more than a year now. It has helped a lot. Higher body temperature, higher pulse, no more constipation, no more cold chills, very good free T3 levels (5+), no more heart palpitations. However, I am still very tired and it gets me the most around lunch

Why does Paul Robinson insist there’s no such thing as adrenal fatigue and T3 will fix low cortisol. It certainly hasn’t in my case .
I’m currently using armour thyroid at 2 grains and feel bloody awful. Same old same old symptoms I get when I try to increase Levo or Levo/t3. My adrenals suffer. I know it’s adrenals because I’ve been doing this for almost 5 years now. Really surprised with his info/advice which makes me doubt everything

Borderline low thyroid
Hello everyone,I have been told I have borderline low thyroid which has gone on for nearly 3 years now, I am 59. Can you still have symptoms with borderline thyroid issues? My main ones are feeling extremely cold in the winter (which is the worst one) then dry skin/hair and brittle nails. I cannot lose

Novel Thyroid Hormone Transporter and Liver Issues
Two papers which closely link. The first, from 2018, identifies a novel thyroid hormone transporter. The second builds on that to try to identify why fatty liver issues occur. But no real answers yet. We have had many members say that they suffer from fatty liver disease. This might be worth a read
