Ideal ranges info
Hello everyone,Does anyone have a post on calculating target ranges for each of the vitamins we care about (vit d, ferritin etc). I have scrolled through pinned posts and searched but couldn't find the info in one place. Happy Friday to all.

Haematologist’s unsupportive B12 response
In a recent pathology test, my gastroenterologist was concerned with my low haemoglobin count and a high reticulocyte count. She mentioned that although I’m low in ferritin (40) I’m not yet needing an iron infusion just yet. My white cell count was seemingly low also and she suggested that I should get

Low blood pressure and palpitations. Thyroid, low ferritin, something else?
My ongoing investigations into possible thyroid problems continue and thanks to you lovely lot I have a direction to follow with more testing over a period of time to look for patterns. So far normalish TSH with low normal FT4 and FT3 - results below. I’m not diagnosed and don’t take thyroid meds. Feel

T3 monotherapy - different brands
I don't like to complain here or anywhere really, and try to keep my head down, as I am one of few who have managed to keep my T3 monotherapy going for around 11 years now, and fought off attempts to stop it, and even managed to hold on to it moving house. Just a few weeks ago my new GP summoned me for

ferritin level and symptom question
I first posted a few months ago and based upon replies there were mixed feelings on whether my symptoms were truly RLS. Main complaints were a current/restless sensation in my legs and some twitching, more at night but also in the daytime if I was sitting for long. The symptom that was not fitting

b12 keeps dropping ferritin
Hi Friends, Has anyone had success raising and maintaining ferritin after it dropped from b12 injections? I first caught the iron issue in October, after shots all last summer. I tried many supplements until landing on the least bad offender to my stomach. I got my ferritin to 33, but it dropped

RLS: nutrition matters, n = 1
Hi, just want to give an update on an experiment I've alluded to in posts on a few others' threads. I recently was able to wean completely off my pramipexole Rx over the course of about a month. (I had been taking it for 6-7 years, increasing over time b/c of augmentation, from .12 mg nightly to about

Weaning off proprananol
Hello everyone,I have Graves disease and had a thyroidectomy in June 2022.I am having conversion problems ,even with a very over-range T4.I know proprananol can reduce T4 to T3 conversion and am looking to try and wean off it. My GP put me on 20mg 3x a day as a migraine preventative. I also take 20mg

Teva shortage?
I love Teva thyroxine, it seems to be the only one I function well on. After having lots of problems getting it from my surgery pharmacy I switched to pharmacy2you and it has arrived within 2 days for the last 6 months. However this month it is 2 weeks late and I will run out soon and in phoning them

New test results after NHS ones
Hi I got some good advice after being dispirited last week by 'normal' results from my GP. I got a set done by Monitor my health, hope you can read them. My question is, should I go back to my GP and ask for an increase in Levo from 75mcg to 100mcg or is that not going to help my T3 - which is presumably

Tight chest T3+ T4 fractures
I have T3 and T4 vertebrae fractures. Sometimes (like this afternoon) I feel tight chested. Could that be because of the fractures (and not a heart warning!)? I am looking for others’ experience, not advice. Thank you.

Really lost - doctor advised me to stop injecting and now B12 keeps going down
Hi everyone, First, I want to say how much this group has been a help and source of comfort and much needed information! Thank you. In Feb 2019 I was diagnosed as having "Vitamin B12 deficiency anemia due to intrinsic factor deficiency." At the time I was 35. My doctor did not say "Pernicious Anemia

My experience of T3 on keto/carnivore so far
I’ve been taking 12.5mcg a day T3 now (raised from 6) for about a month on the keto/carnivore diet. It’s been going well I’ve been exercising and getting back to reading books again which has been nice. Carnivore was quite hard so I transitioned over to keto which seemed to help a bit probably because

T3 side effects
I’ve recently seen a private Endo and been prescribed T3 as she said I wasn’t converting my levothyroxine properly. I’m now taking 150 levothyroxine and she started me on 2.5 mcg of T3 3 times per day. Very quickly after that, I broke out in painful spots, felt jittery, hungry, anxious and exhausted.
