Hi,whilst I'm tweaking my t4/t3 combo and feeling better,I think I'm needing to learn about my sex hormones....very low libido for along time. Any advice on this would be magnanimously appreciated.

A couple of good places to start with is Menopause Support UK. Diane Danzebrink who founded the organisation has put together a great free downloadable brochure that explains things simply. Also Louise Newson at Newson Health care has some great resources and great podcasts to listen too. She also has the Balance App you can download but I find it a bit awkward to navigate.
If you are on Facebook there are a some great groups while you'll learn so much like you do here.
First call for Libido is estrogen as alot of the time once you start on hrt and your level increase this can be all you need. If that doesn't help then testosterone. I love testosterone it's so much more than just a Libido fixer but that's what we have to say we need it for
Menopause matters have a good website and a forum like this one too.
If you decide to use HRT be careful that you may need to adjust your thyroid hormones as they all affect each other ( despite what doctors may say).
