Raynauds
Dr diagnosed me in 1994 with Raynauds said itâs usually a prelude to later disease like, arthritis or scleroderma I have both now. Along with numerous other diseases. Had open heart surgery in 2005. Stent put in aorta in 2010. And pretty sure my next visit to vascular surgeon in March for my PAD in legs

warfarin
Thatâs awful, in my 12 year experience with warfarin I was always told if you are over your therapeutic range you should reduce your dosage down not miss it for days. Not taking any anti coagulant can harm you if at risk of clotting. If this was a recent diagnosis I can understand why the doc wants

Itchy tear ducts- not dry eye
Anyone? Every so often I get insanely itchy upper tear duct in my left eye, sometimes a little bit in the lower one. Occasionally the right eye too.It never makes my eyes water, feel gritty, or uncomfortable; it is specifically itchiness. Sometimes I give in and rub it, but then a cycle starts and

What can cause permanent tinnitus?
I have been suffering from tinnitus for nearly 2 months now due to using cotton buds and bobby pins, which damaged my ears and gave me tinnitus. The assault to my ears caused me to get an outer ear infection along with tinnitus. The ear infection has healed, but the tinnitus has not. The process of healing

Soiling Issue
After 2 years of chronic constipation I disimpacted my 6 year old last October which resulted in less soiling. My son was even getting the sensation of needing to go again maybe 3-4 times per week. We managed to wean him off Senna (started to give him tummy cramps) and have stayed on a maintenance dose

Should I apply sick day rules following a foot operation?
I had an operation yesterday to remove osteophyte ring from around my big toe. Iâm home now and itâs very painful despite taking the codeine 30mg they prescribed. My PMR is no different and Iâm on 6mg prednisolone but am I supposed to apply sick day rules or do I only do that if PMR gets worse?

weaning off Fentanyl patches
I am on 25mcg Fentanyl patches for pain caused by a compression fracture on my T10 vertebrae due to radiation treatment for metastatic prostate cancer. I have been on painkillers for about 12 months now, beginning with morphine etc which caused intense constipation. I began about 9 months ago on 12 mcg

Stress--patience--tapering going well...
I've been reading the forum almost daily but haven't posted, so I thought I'd update. After getting down to 1 mg after four years, in the fall of 2023, I had to go back to 60 mg...mostly other health issues and not really a typical GCA flare. Now, after just three months, I am at 4mg, along with my weekly

Help! Prostate cancer spread to bladder.
Diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer in 2017, confined to bones and lymph nodes. The urologist seemed
