Anyone for elective c section?
Hiya. Just wondering if anyone has opted for an elective c section and the reason behind it? I personally would love to give birth by a vaginal delivery, but being a first timer (and probably because of IVF as well), I just don't expect my body to go into labour on its own.I have therefore opted for

Letrozole
Good evening, looking to find a Dr to prescribe letrozole to boost ovulation for natural conception. I am 44 and don't really want to go for IVF but would be happy to try letrozole and progesterone supplementation to boost my (low) chances to conceive naturally. What is the best course of action? Will

How to cope with ivf injection
I have referral apppointment to discuss steps for IVF in April and my goal is to lose at least 2 more kg before then as I will need to qualify for ivf on nhs. I have lost 2kg so far so getting there I am a bit nervous however about ivf. Main things that firstly worries me is the injections, the idea

follicles not rupturing?
has this happened anyone else? Since the very first consultation I had with my nhs clinic I mentioned my low progesterone and asked if they were sure I was ovulating. They basically said oh yeah like unless your cycles are 90 days long then you’re ovulating. And sure ivf will force ovulation anyway

Low amh of 1.1 in early 40s, successful IVF?
Hi, I just received my amh levels which are at 1.1 with the doctor telling me that this is extremely low and it’s likely that I won’t get any eggs with ivf treatment. Has anyone gone on to have a successful egg collection and pregnancy with low amh in their early 40s? I currently have a 2 year old who

How might DNA fragmentation affect treatment?
My partner (32M) and I (32F) have just had our funding approved for IVF. His morphology has been low on all tests, although came back borderline normal on the most recent one at 4%. Everything else has always come back normal for both of us. The consultant recommended that he has a DNA fragmentation

First round of IVF as single female with low AMH and 2 potential follicles
Hello - I stumbled across this thread when searching desperately for answers I was really hopeful to find some blogs of ladies who are undergoing ivf with not many follicles - I’ve been injecting for 8 nights now and introduced another last night - I had 11 follicles on Monday - they were small but I

Ovulation and period after cancelled IVF cycle
Hi Apologies for asking yet another question. My cycle was cancelled just over a week ago due to poor follicle response to stims. When am I likely to ovulate and have a period? I am using OPKs but they are getting weaker (flashing smiley every day on clear blue). Largest follicle was only 11mm so

Sensitive post-clearblue weeks indicator
Hi everyone. So sorry if this post upsets anyone but driving myself nuts. I've had 8 pregnancies in total of which 5 were chemical pregnancies and 2 were mmc. We had our rainbow baby in 2021 through ivf and were looking to transfer our last embryo in a few months. However I've fallen pregnant naturally

What to do
Hello, I have had one failed round of IVF on the NHS and feeling deflated if its worth it to carry on. I have a low AMH for my age (33) and my husband has poor morphology below 1%. We have tried for two years and done life style changes and supplements. We got 4 eggs and managed to get one blastocyst

Endometrioma means Endometriosis?
Hello, I wondered if anyone could help me. I have been going through infertility and failed IVF cycles for 3 years now. I had an MRI to check my womb and they found a chocolate cyst and a few small ones in my one ovary. This was not long after a failed fresh cycle of IVF. My consultant was not concerned

Very short periods after fet
Dear all, was wondering whether anyone has experienced the same. I have started IVF last year and until now I have had 3 cycles. While getting ready for the fourth one I am worried about my period. It has become very light. On the first day there's only brown discharge and on the second day very light

Using donor eggs abroad
Hi there. I completed my 2nd IVF in Dec 2023,which ended awfully. None of the embryos made it past day 3. We were absolutely devastated, and were told that the only way to achieve pregnancy would be through using donor eggs. That was a very hard pill to swallow, but I had already decided I wouldn't put
