Vacuuming in a vacuum
Finally, l’m having to admit that the housework isn’t going to do itself and the dust won’t lockdown until my cleaner returns. So, I get out the Dyson. I was a much stronger person when I bought it, but I was shocked to discover how cumbersome it is and really painful to my hand and wrist. I believe

Egg Freezing / Fertilty Advice?
Hi everyone. I've recently been diagnosed with endo via ultrasound/MRI. Considered to be stage 4, including large bilateral endometriomas. My treatment was delayed by Covid-19 so I am awaiting cystectomy etc. My AMH levels when tested were I believe just within 'acceptable' range, but I am aware surgery

Food parcels
Good morning. I have registered with the Government website and they have given my name to the supermarkets and so ASDA have now given me a regular weekly home delivery slot. Great. However, the government site must link into these weekly food parcels that DEFRA are doing and so today I've had a box

EMDR App ?
I know one is not supposed to do EMDR on their own, but does anyone know of any online apps that can be used while this pandemic is going on? Thanks.

Sjögren’s syndrome?
Just wondering if anyone has any experience of Sjögren’s syndrome? I was diagnosed ( due to symptoms, high CRP and rapid response to steroids) with GCA in January of this year. I have been tapering for the last 2 months or so. During this time I’ve also been diagnosed with glaucoma - I went to the optician

Positive hospital experience.
I just wanted to write a POSITIVE comment. I live in a rural area where there are not many cases of Covid 19 I know but last night I had to go to NHS 24 at the local hospital because of a sore eye and sore jaw and I was very aware that having polymyalgia it could be GCA. The place was empty- the staff

COVID-19 and Immune System Disorders
I had my quarterly visit with my neurologist as "telemedicine" last Friday. It was a bit challenging as the technology was quite buggy on both sides, but we were finally able to do it with her seeing me and me just hearing her. I told her that my husband and I both had the virus and were amongst the

Blepharitis
Hi I'm new to the site but have had SLE for 35 years. Recently been diagnosed with blepharitis which my lovely optician thought might be linked to my SLE. Has anyone else got this irritating (in so many ways) condition which is aggravated at the moment by the tree pollen. I am using Hycosan Extra eye

Not mine but thought provoking.
I talked to a man today I talked with a man today, an 80+-year-old man. I asked him if there was anything I can get him while this Coronavirus scare was gripping America. He simply smiled, looked away and said: "Let me tell you what I need! I need to believe in, at some point, this country my generation

Double Vision
Aaacckkk! My double vision is driving me crazy. I can see close up but about 1 foot and everything doubles. Had a biopsy done Thurs to verify GCA. The blood test came back inconclusive. Any of you get rid of the double vision?

Does anyone know if “sweet oil” dries in your ears or do you have to syringe it out 😭 mines mostly gone but i press a part of my ear and i can feel and hear the stickiness almost like a suction type of noise . And I don’t know if I should just wait it out or just use the hydrogen peroxide and then syringe

More issues going on with mom :/ I understand if you guys are sick of me posting. I just have no one now. And I DO need support.
So, there was an incident I guess... My moms wife has Amazon Prime. She’s always let me use it. I ordered some speakers, along with a 2 year warranty but on my own credit card. I mean, I always use my own credit card because I’m buying stuff for me? Why would I use someone else’s credit card?? Anyway
